Like i said trees and buildings butcher sat service, and like he said there isnt a dish, most dishes are put in a clear area of land and whatnot. And again its the Army. lol. And yes walking around will drop you too. plus not sure if the phone will auto do it, we had to put in the country code for where we were calling even usa. :P

If its like any that ive used and do use for the Army, have fun with it, trees and buildings kill Sat signal. But great idea, i like it alot. great quick way to increase coverage, unless they charge liek 3$ per minute

I wonder if wimax will throttle connections if someone is a bandwith hog? Like dsl/sat/cable where they will throttle the connection due to over use?

Just gather up the top 500 heavy bandwith users over the nation put them under 1 WiMax site and watch the sparks fly. If it holds up to 500 people constantly downloading and playing bandwith hog games if it lives its good

This is incorrect. Well for some Alltel mergeries :P The merger killed my recpetion. i was forced into 1X for a few months.... :( and dropped 95% of my calls regardless of area all over South Carolina. never dropped one with sprint yet, or alltel. ( even after updating PRL's and getting Hybrid prl's put on. ) :(

why not go with the 69.99 plan and get a discount.. use the phone you want. and we have discounts for everything from having a free aol email, using a credit union, or where you work. Id personally stop complaining. 69.99 is better than everyone else for what your getting. just hit up verizon or att and see. Like the suncom unlimited plan all over again lol.

My math Might not add up, but they sold it for 100 million......... and buying it back for 200 million..... im pretty sure it didnt take 100 million to run that part of lenovo's company to progress during the year...so how much did they lose in this transaction

i had a kyocera kx5 for alltel. It was a great phone, had quite a bit of feats. nothing like a win-mo/blackberry/andriod but it was pretty decent phone. great coverage and strong as an ox. It survived flying through my windshield and into the back of anothers windhshield in a wreck. Just went and got it out of one of the other cars and made a call like nothing was wrong..... Just so happens when i got home i ...

Humm I know personally the touch pro alltel had could beat the verizon and att version. Verizons was limited, and so was att. The guy could only do half what i did, and the net speeds really put att to shame. Again this was pre-verizon take over of alltel. But when verizon took over, the att network looked alot better. At least id know why my phone would be at 1x and drop calls. >.

Technically a few CDMA phones do have sim cards...... well kinda sorta.. ( blackberry world edition, just to throw one.... ) Sim cards are nice but coverage wise, cdma is better ( where i live anyway.... about 60 minute drive to get 3g for att but i get grate net speeds with sprint .... and once upon a time alltel.

Personally I agree Att doesnt have much grounds to sit on, but they all do say some BS in their advertisements. ATT doesnt have 3g where i live. Ehh ok. Not for me. Had alltel it was great! ehh once big red took it over... no. Dropped calls, 1x data speeds. No one should suffer 1x im sorry. And customer service...... I was just stating. I personally have verizon due to the merger, not to found of it but hey thats what contracts are for and work for sprint ( now was alltel but yea ) still seems they charge more for less and swim in money. not saying they are bad or evil, in fact they are quite smart, always 1 foot ahead of the game and i respect their ability to grow as quickly as they did. Yes well said, but look at verizon this past year, how much money have they spent buying networks ( alltel ), handsets, and LTE technology. And did they have to get a loan? or cut back?
