They have been really booty tight about psp switches now, and as of 11/10/03 the new psp say you are limited to only one full swap of phone, but i dnt really know how they could enforce it. I swapped an old sanyo 5150 on 11/09/03 with an old psp... i had to take my phone which did have a dead battery and was freezing up on certain menus to a store and get the techs to write up that ...

Re: Renewed contract without consent... what should i do?

It was an actual attws offer by ATTWS last October... the website at the time attws setup was www.attgear.com With the promotion if you activated a new line of service by a certain date you received your choice of a gear pack... a couple ps2 games, cds, or dvds. To take advantage you activated a new account, create attws online login, go to above mentioned website and entered your info. It was geared for college student or so i was ...

Actually it says... "IF YOU SELECT A RATE PLAN, FEATURE OR PROMOTION WHICH REQUIRES A FIXED TERM OF MORE THAN ONE MONTH (SUCH AS A ONE-YEAR RATE PLAN), YOU AGREE TO PURCHASE SERVICE FOR THE FULL TERM." check it out at... http://www.attwireless.com/mobileinter net/terms.jhtml Apparently the promotion they gave is indeed a promotion that requires a fixed term of greater than one month... again either due to their ignorence or hatred I was unimformed of this even after I specifically asked "this action is ...

The information posted is correct... i am just confirming $379.99 - $150 for 2 yr, and $100 for 1yr. It will hit selected electronic stores first (trust me I know which ones and yall WILL be happy) on NOV 25th (when pic mail is expected to launch)... followed by sprint store later. My information is VERY reliable, but as always nothing is a 100% for sure. Yep I'm ready for my VM4500, how bout you?

I worked for Sprint just after they launched service in Houston in 1998. I had them till 2002, and am currently trying to go back now. Network wise sprint pcs in Texas it great. Both companies are CDMA so they will have some of the clearest cellular calls you can get, a big advantage to CDMA is soft-handoffs... when you switch towers the towers actually "communicate" in a way to each so that before a tower lets you ...

PLEASE rerate me. I have gotten an extra 35 anytime minutes to my 600 month since jan. I haven't even used 500 of those minutes in a month since then. The free month equated to 46 bucks. YES, I would gladly pay 46 bucks back(thats 39.99 plus tax)... but they are not intrested at attws. Why do I want out now... well they have pissed me off and now i wonna switch... will i be treated better with someone ...

If you wonna know why I am PO'ed check out my post "Renewed contract without consent what should I do?" Thats why I am mad, I was actually fairly happy with my service and was most likely gonna keep ATTWS... but sorry after this no way. I am currently in the process of getting this resolved with FCC... because customer service incapable of helping me. No offense to you but the way I was treated was beyond my belief... and VERY ...

Former Sprint PCS rep here and I have seen all too many samsung destruct. They offer neat and innovative features but (as before mentioned) their signal strenght is a downfall... but have heard their recent models (last 6 months) have gotten tremendously better. The build quality and design in the past of samsung were horrid. My famous example is a seeing a 8500 get a cracked LCD when my girlfriend slid into a booth at a restaurant. I went ...

Hey spcsales or anyone else... do yall expect the 5500 to make it to bestbuy or any other secondary retailer by dec 9th? I have a credit there otherwise I would buck it to a store. Its a longshot just thought I'd ask.

Naive? They did indeed break a verbal contract when they failed to hold up their end of the bargin when i purchased the phone (the free gifts that equaled 75 bucks). THAT is why they offered me the free month. I want them to read my contract... it's only from a year after activation/purchase. I still don't understand how the burden of proof is on me... they are ones saying I extended my contract.. the only thing set in ...

I appreciate your response and sincerly thankyou for any further insight... but I did indeed sign a one year agreement that expired on approx Nov 10th. As far at Texas (where i live) verbal agreement don't hold any weight... it would like me saying they told me they would give me a million minutes on my 10th month and then writing down a name and date of someone I spoke to... even thought it was untrue. What had happened was ...

Renewed contract without consent... what should i do?
Nov 13, 2003, 3:26 AM
in the AT&T Wireless forum

I found out in July ATTWS renewed my contract w/o consent. What can i do? I called and spoke to them and they said in the customer service records they read aloud something and i agreed to it which is a lie. I know the law and know the burden of proof is on them. With no signature and no recorded confirmation what grounds to they have to charge me to "break" this fictitious contract. This is not the ...
