the thing that gets me with our iphone comission structure is that if i activate a new line on an iphone, that new act doesnt go toward my total activations for the month. :evil: and we only get a couple dollars gp. its like theyre trying to get us to sell more droids. lol

I am a indirect rep and i am trying to figure out why we are even carrying the iPhone. as indirect, we make almost nothing and it doesnt count towards our acts/ups goals.... and we make $0 gp. so im curious, how is youre payout different. does it count to sell an iphone in your comission structure the same as it does for a droid? :?

the funny thing is, verizon kind of does give customers of 2 years a special deal. as long as you pay more than $35 bucks a month on a specific line, then you get new every two credits of $30, $50 or $100 depending on how much they are paying. so yeah. i dont understand what it is. i guess everyone wants something for nothing.

i alone have 5. but seriously, we're slow. you just have to make sure that you're taking advantage of every customer taht comes through the door, so i do a lot of "account reviews". which means i get their account info to look for upgrades. i talk to people about their kids, and if they have phones. and i get add on's all the time. 8)

WHAT?! No comission? The only reason I do this job is the comission. I made an extra $2300 after tax last month in comission. It's like i made $40 an hour for doing the same thing you do, and you get $8? It was a great month, and that is above average for the company by a lot, but still. Dang.

AND it most likely isn't at&t that is refusing to allow the store to carry they iphone. apple is extremely particular in how their products are displayed and they make sure that the staff selling the product is trained in a certain way. i used to work for best buy, and before our particular store could carry apple computers and the iphone, we had to have a special display and managers had to be trained for it. they almost ...

if you have any line on unlimited text, it's also $10 more perl line for unlimited data and email on verizon too. they just got rid of the unlimited $15 package. but if you really think about it, how many people have a small text pack and would need unlimited data? thats like if my grandma started using the internet on her phone everyday, all day. she's 90. doesn't even have a wireless phone.

I think what everyone should understand, and i think that it is somewhat of a reiteration, is that not every messaging phone or new phone released will require data. in fact, the only verizon phone out now that would fall under the multimedia phone is the env touch. so unless someone wants a phone that has html browsing and email and doc viewers and all that jazz, then they wont need this data feature.

I love...
when spanish speaking customers come in and speak absolutely no english. Especially because i know almost no spanish. It's impossible to communitcate. i litterally had a whole spanish family come in and just smile at me when i spoke to them. They wandered around the store for 10 minutes looking at signage and phones. then they left and just smiled as i said goodbye.
