Yeah, if video is a big deal the Omnia has a nicer screen resolution. I have huge fingers and text/email a lot, so I swapped my Omnia for the Saga's full keyboard.

Nope. But Verizon announced plans to unlock it by mid-year.

I believe I read on the forums at WWW.PDAPHONEHOME.COM that it does, you can check there to be sure.

I meant, I made through a day with these tweaks and the regular battery. One exception is watching video, doing that for an hour will drain the battery. A side issue is that the phone starts telling you battery power is low when its at 40% power, plenty of power but it still starts warning you. There is probably a way to change that but have not found it. If you still want the extended battery, they ...

To improve the battery life: 1 - don't set it to synch as emails arrive, set it to some interval, the synch process drains the battery. Try at least an hour, I set it to 4hrs. It only takes a few seconds for it do send/recieve email on demand if you want to look at it in between 2 - If you have good coverage at home and work, turn off wifi and live off of the EVDO cell ...
