Upgrading to a smart plan?
About 2 months ago I got the env touch and renewed my contract with verizon. I love the phone but I'm very displeased with stupid data package, I didn't think it'd be that big of a deal because the booklet said 300 internet pages equals about 1 mb which is total bull. Well is there anyway I can upgrade to a smart plan without paying expensive fees?

thanks for the smartass remark, it's obvious you don't know how to understand simple sentences. I said eff alltel because they haven't come out with any good phones that don't require a smart plan.

I don't know if this is because they're starting to switch but I was with my friend yesterday and and he had to call his brother, Jake. He called him and got an automated voice answering machine that said "this person in the alltel network cannot be reached blah blah blah" then we called back about 2 or 3 hours later and it said "this person in the verizon network cannot be reached blah blah blah." I hope this ...

I was reading on the alltel site and it said customers who CHOOSE a smart plan pack will receive preloaded apps and email service. I guess The way people are wording things is confusing me. Is a smart plan needed?

Am I in an Alltel non-divested market or not? is there anywhere I can check? I live in Norfolk, Nebraska if you know where to check and can tell me.

so Im in an Alltel Licensed Service Area, will I be switching to Verizon? If so, should I just wait for the switch?

Does anybody have any idea when alltel will be getting new phones? My contract ends in April but most of their phones right now I really don't like =/ So I'm waiting for them to finally switch to vzw or for new phones, so does anybody know?
