actually aws policy is to inform the customer you do not wish to be recorded, making it unlawful for them to continue and they cannot use it in a court of law, if they choose to continue recording you are supposed to continue with the conversation as it is a waste of tape for them to record as it is illegal...under no circumstances are you to say it is okay that they record the conversation, anyone on res especially ...

everyone seems to think that cingular is looking to BUYOUT attws or tmobile. Why are people not realizing the difference. cingular wants to merger with them, they could not afford to buyout attws. large companies buyout smaller companies, they merger with ones that are similar insize. do they not realize cingular could not afford to BUYOUT attws, their worht prett much as much as they are

but your all forgetting this isnt a buyout, its a merger, not a take over but a joinnig of forces. so att will have say in the way the company is run, and it will not all be under the cingular network.

i dont think att would become cingular or viceversa as it is not a buyout but a merger. they would become att cingular or something like it, or maybe a brand new name. and as for the policies, i think they would sit down the two companies and go over what their policies and offers are and pick which ones work best, obviously if a att plan is more profitable then a cingular plan, then they will ...

actually a lot of companies will not be chargin the customer to take their number with them, and those that are getting the new service will be providing free phones just like any new service. although you still will be responsible for the early termination fee if you are under contract and any activation fees. so really its not going to be that expensive for te consumer, and the companies are not going to be making any ...

Unfortunatly the BBB is a For profit orginization. So when ppl call up and say that they will Call the BBB on AWS, I laugh because if AWS gives BBB a couple thousand dollars BBB says that AWS is the best company in the world. You are better off with the FCC.

two misconceptions a lot of people seem to beleive.
1) verbal contracts are legally binding in all 50 states, it is a federal law and therefore legal in all states including texas.
2) as you are saying attws has done wrong, it is not for us to prove we are inocent, it is for you to prove that we are guilty of the deceipt and therefore the burden of proof is on you and not on attws.

yeha i have to agree with you there, i work at aws customer care, and when people call in to purchase that phone as an upgrade, i do everything i can to educate that person on what a bad choice they are making, the 120t is not as bad, but is not very good either. but some people are to concerned with the look of the phone and want a flip phone so they get the v60 and ...

well the gsm was down because we had some problems with the gsm network, it has been on the news. but as for the digital, its not that we cant keep it up, its that we arent, all companies are going over to gsm and we are trying to get rid of digital, so we are not spending money keeping that system up, instead we are spending it to expand our gsm system so people can go over ...

i definatly agree that is not very pleasant listening to reps bashing the company all day. i work for aws, and althoughi know it is not perfect, is are all companies, it does have its good points and it treats its employees rather good i must say. so for any who works for them to bash them, it is especially disheartening. (ps; they dont do personalty tests or anything when hiring)

also it doesnt really matter how much you spend, a nokia 1260 gets better reception then a motorola v60i, and the 1260 is just basic entry level phone, nothing fancy and the v60i is the most expensive tdma phone offered by attws. so its not always how much you spend.

you opened the message ad lookd at it, that pretty much ruines it, you cant open it. before you open it, there should be an options button, click that and there should be an option to save. it is there, you just need to be patient and look for it and not open the mesage. once you have saved it, it wil automatically appear as a ringtone.

i would never recomend buying any of the v60 line of phones, they are all riddled with problems. and the ui's are horible on them. some motorola phones are good, they had a brain fart when they made the v60 line, i dont know why they are continuing it, and not just start over.
