I work as an Alltel agent so our system is somewhere limited in what it allows agents to do. I can block "axcess downloads" which keeps kids from downloading aplications, ringtones, and games, but the short code biling items cannot be blocked by the agent system. Maybe there is a way for CS to do it.

"The phone company did nothing wrong they didn't send any ads of any kind to intice people into these services they just freely gave out their number and didn't read the small print." You obviously can't see the double standard that I layed out. If that same 13 yearold user were to call Alltel CS to add Acccess Web for $5.99 per month they would be unable to do so. Alltel like most carriers has a ...

If you go back and read my message you can see that I am talking about the difference between phone users and account holders. Most of the accounts that have issues with this type of billing are started by users that are not 18 and do not have account holder status on the account. If Alltel would stick to the Policy and Procedures manual users would be unable to make account changes of any kind. The problem ...

I wish someone would take this lawsuit nationwide because I have many customers that have gotten scammed by alltel and these 4rd party billing companies. The double standard is that a user on an account cannot add even road side assistance for $3.99 but they can sign up for $10 per month joke a day. Nobody verifies that they have authorization by the account holder they just allow it to go through. Alltel make millions off ...

Sorry if the kid won't listen you are probably going to have to take it away for a while. I have found that kids do better when they know that you check the mins every couple of days. Also 2 weeks without the phone should make him sit up and take notice. Right now Alltel doesn't have any way to restrict calls.

It is possible that you will be able to switch to a Verizon rate plan and then disconnect under their prorated disconnect plan. Alltel will always charge a flate rate but once we are Verizon things might change.

Couple of things would you hate the phone if you hadn't dropped it?? Did you read the review of the Evoke that I wrote?? I covered most of the issues with the phone that I could see. Unlike what Alltel says it is not close to a smart phone. I really don't think it is as bad as you are makint it to be.

While the system will allow that ESN change the problem is that Verizon phones are setup to use different towers. Even with the PRL download they will use the wrong towers in many areas. Alltel phones will typically roam off of Sprint towers where the Verizon is going to try like hell to use a Verizon tower. If you were to use a Storm on an Alltel account in say IA it would potentially use ...

At this time you cannot put an VZW phone on a Alltel rate plan. It is not possible.

Alltel Policy

It is Alltel corporate policy that all smart phones be on an Alltel Smart Choice Plan. They say that they run reports to find and catch smart phones with out smart choice plans but I have never seen that happen. I am currently using a Samsung Delve with the connect pack with no issues for the last three months. The tricky part is if you can get it activated on that plan. Most Alltel sales ...

It does email and has a regular browser that makes it a smart phone hence the Smart Choice Plan. Calling it a "feature phone" makes you sounds like you are from Alltel Corporate.
