Skype Mobile was pulled from the T-Bolt just before launch. It DOES support it, just not very well. It is scheduled to be a part of the upcoming update for the t-bolt software. However i fear that, just like the T-BOLT launch, we may never know when that update will come. :?
Heat/battery prob?
Has anyone experienced a problem with their incredible getting....incredibly warm? and the battery going very fast? My mom and my stepdad each have one. they have a task killer as i showed them how to use the device. anyone else having these troubles?

First QUARTER. It was due to be released mid march but ran into problems during final stages of testing with Verizon.

Spoke to my direct Verizon IDR and got the scoop on the upgrade. Apparently HTC's Sense UI isn't cooperating with Android 2.1 a.k.a. Snapdragon. So it looks like it could be delayed until May or June. :paranoid:

Not entirely true. Although 2.x (2.1 more than likely) hasn't been officially released, some users across the US have experienced an update. It's sort of a premature leak of you will. Those that got it actually ended up losing everything on board their device. So no doubt its coming soon.

When i first got this phone (upgraded from BB Storm) i was a little shacky on it. But after a while i figured everything out. Just about everything i did on my BB, i can do on here, just in a different way. No big deal.
My main thing is the batter. Holy cow talk about battery life. here are the actual specs from the device itself

I'm eligible for my Annual upgrade with verizon and need some help deciding on a new PDA. I currently have the Storm but i would like an actual keyboard now. So i like the tour. I was also looking at the HTC Touch Pro. Any thoughts on what to go with?

alright. so one of the main probs i have with my storm is that i get a lot of emails from work that have PDF attachments. my storm will not let me view them. how in the F***K do i view these attachments. i figured that the documents to go that it has should cover it. i was wrong. my girlfriends curve can open them just fine. would just like some advice

I'm perfectly fine with mine. Yeah it sucks that we have to wait, but wouldn't you rather have them release something that works good instead of releasing a bunch of crapola's? shouldn't have to patch a patch right? so i'll wait. not a big deal. course maybe its cause i'm not a whiner perhaps? lol.

well that'll be dicided between VZW and apple. but i'm sure if that did happen, think of the plus side for VZW...more new contracts? very high number of sales as far as contracts, upgrades, and outright sales. plus side for apple...more money. high amount of sales through verizon and perhaps other carriers? they would't be held down by at&t anymore so they could greatly expand and get more moolah. heck if it was me, i'd give a big hell ...

i haven't touched any new OS's yet but i read that the new .122 version, since it was only released for bell, may cause some problems if installed onto a verizon storm. make sure you give that a thought.
as far as the downloading and installing, i have yet to install a new one to mine so i wouldn't be able to help there. sorry. get a hold of hawkeyeOC or FknTwizted. they can help.

hey so i just installed the AlienBerry theme from crackberry. it's a really cool theme but it seems that some of my applications won't show up. i have games on my storm that won't show up now. my VZW Tones app won't either. umm....reason? anyone know? anyone know how to get em to who up again?

aaaaaalllllrrrriiiiiggghhhhhtt!!! so as i was reading, the contract that at&t and apple have is set to expire in 2010. meaning if at&t doesn't beg and plead enough to apple to extend the contract...apple will expand their iphone to more carriers.
VERIZON! VERIZON! CONSIDER VERIZON! LOL. at&t sucks. like bad. no comparison in coverage to Verizon. so please, apple, give Verizon customers the iphone chance. they deserve it.

i wouldn't waste my time trying to unlock an iPhone for Verizon use. do that and all you'll have is a phone with a big screen. :lol:
the reason for this is that the way data is translated and used on the two networks is ENTIRELY different. so it would be pointless. no itunes access, no internet, perhaps no SMS even.
i would like the iPhone as well but since i can't even get AT&T where i live, ...

ok, so since i'm actually considering installing it "unofficially" after all, could you perhaps just keep me posted on any problems with it?
Also, i read that the tricky thing is the unofficial installer. That since it's not for verizon 9530 that it's a little trickier. would you mind sharing your wisdom on how you went about it?
