One time I got a customer thinking that they could add a cell phone line to an account that only had a mobile broadband plan on it. For $9.99. It took every ounce of self control I had to neither laugh, cry, or storm out of the kiosk screaming about how I couldn't take the stupidity anymore....

I had a lady come back last week, four days after I sold her a three new line family share...
Apparently her husband is a control freak and "isn't okay with any ideas that don't come from him"?
So with the restocking fees and the activation fees not being waived after the first THREE days, it cost this family $210 because he "didn't like the idea".
Not to mention how much it cost me in commission.

i have the Droid X and also have a couple recommendations for your "suggested apps" page:
Application Protection (set a secondary password to lock certain apps, and require password to delete apps. there are of course other lock apps but i've been using this for two months, it's free, and hasn't force closed once.)
Astro File Manager (self explanatory really. explore your SD cards files and folders.)
Gesture Search (allows you to search for contacts in your contact list by tracing the ...

but i like the idea. i'll recommend it to a few customers and see how it goes.
i work for Big Red and they actually released an interactive tutorial for VZW devices at support.vzw.com. that's pretty cool for those other Big Red employees who don't know about it.

1. Wireless companies are here to make money.
2. We are NOT here to babysit the customers.
3. There is a big difference between being fair to give good customer service, and bending over backwards to lose money in order to satisfy some jerk-off who disregarded policy.
4. The amounts we are able to credit have gone down because PEOPLE HAVE ABUSED IT. They realize they were idiots but pretend they ...

a friend of mine that works at the local corporate store gave me a heads up that a previous customer of mine wanted to take advantage of the BOGO on droids. i'm like, okay, cool, an extra upgrade. i can work with that.
