so, i had a customer just walk in and say "i just wanna look around and see what deals you have going on."
im kewl with that, sure you take my time away from actual customers but whatever.
then he wanted to know if we still offered family plans, why yes we do, didnt know those were going to be discontinued myself...*sarcasm intended*.
next it was "you got them slide phones (585) for one flat rate for that family ...

i don't work with VZW but with us we can do a change of responsibility in that situation. it suspends the contract but allows them to keep the number. if the rep quits/gets fired the agent line is canceled and the contract renews, so say you do this today she works for 3 years for you, she will still have the 2 year contract to fulfill. again don't know if that helps but its how it works ...

....and anyone who never has used one will say that, using is understanding. sure, the company makes more money on them in data but that isnt what we are talking about. we are talking about a blackberry plan, and it is required, no matter if the customer wants to pony up and pay or not.

so you are saying you refuse to pay the 25 bucks and havent even tried it? it more than pays for itself once you become hooked on using when and where you want.
anyway, as it stands what you want isnt possible with us. if you want a smartphone without paying a data plan than you need to forget renewing with us and look to other carriers that match your needs more, i know of several people ...

you are right we get nothing off of it but what we do get is telling the customer the truth and building trust is quite important. ive done at least 5 or 6 zero months that have came back in over christmas and again when taxes came back that asked for me becuase i didnt lie to them.

Getting a smartphone without data is quite dumb. The whole purpose of them is that they allow you to get email, internet surfing, and tethering. Take out the data and boom you have yourself a hint. :paranoid:

it doesn't but she was wanting to write the check in her book to have the carbon copy, i have to deposit the check for the charger at the end of the night and can't scribble out the amount she writes in for the price of a charger.
