Because verizons marketing maybe 10x better because their network and phones sure are not. Sprint has the best smartphones available period. There is also no way verizon has 10x times more coverage then Sprint so not sure why big red is pulling more subs. I could careless who has more subs because Sprint is perfect for me and they do way more for way less. 8)

Couldnt be worse then the bumbling idiots over at verizon ripping people off. Sprint also has there decent coverage and best in class Smarphone line up which is more then enough for them to compete against att or verizon. 8)

Re: Time for Verizon to buy Sprint?
Sep 21, 2011, 6:43 PM

Verizon is not going to buy Sprint anytime soon. Just because tmobile is being bought out doesn't mean Sprint will. Fail post to say the least. Verizon has already clearly stated they have no interest in buying Sprint. 8)

Very true... they said the same about the palm pre. This is just verizon trying to save face because they wont be number one anymore and Sprint is not going down without a fight. Verizon knows this. believe none of the media hype verizon puts out for now its just a front. After the purchase of alltel and expensive plans for their rollout of Lte Verizon has their hands full atm.8)

Well put... Ive seen the same thing. People complain about Sprints pricing thinking the grass is greener on the other side. Then they go over there finding out their not and wish they never left because they end up paying more for a lot less. But then they cant come back because their stuck on contract. To the people who don't go to buffets they still may use unlimited some way shape or form. Most restaurants offer free refills ...

But they are keeping the option alive much longer than there competitors and should be commended for it. :D Right now your just blowing steam you have no proof or even dates about when this will happen. It could take place years from now and by then it probably wont matter. All we know is that Sprint is offering unlimited 4g across its 4g network. There has been rumors online of Sprint throttling but I have never seen this ...

Not sure on the nexus even though it does seem legit. The View has just got some confirmation with the name HTC Evo view 4g being trademarked. This was also part of the leaked info about the Nexus 4g and Evo 3D. If everything is true Sprint will have one awesome line up once again. 8)

Oh and Lte is a winning technology? What are u basing this on? There are no Lte phones to compare to Sprint's 4g phones so how do you figure wimax is a loser tech. Wimax is a now tech which is why Sprint rolled it out in the first place they are the NowNetwork. Sprint brought Wimax because is was ready long before lte. Verizon still has not release one phone that works on there shinny new lte network so its ...

Oh yea the iphone does. Completely forgot about that little boger. I give them that. Thats still a whole six months after everyone else and most people are waiting for the iphone 5 or the thunderbolt. But is it wifi only like att? Can u use it over 3g like u can on Sprint or tmobile? Your retarted Sprint is not the best for everyone. Niether is verizon. Competition is important because it keeps the big carriers like verizon and att from getting out of hand. I always recomend verizon to people that travel a lot or live in the bonies because verizon may have better coverage there. If I have been proven wrong please go back and show me where im here to get info just like u. Just because someone says I was ...

I said lte and wimax are real 4g and both deserve the label of 4g. Hspa+ on the other hand is 3g rebranded as 4g and is not a true 4g solution. I also said verizon lte network is the fastest. This can change once they get more users but as off right now nobody but verizon can consistantly hit 20mbs+ using there lte network. For consumers who are looking for a great network at an affordable cost with lots of coverage. Sprint has the best devices on the market and the best data and talk plans around. Sprint usually has the best company discount as well. Sprint has a better voice network in many off the top cities then verizon does. What city do you live in? Do you work for verizon? Microsofts new Wp7 has some potential as a new os. Im sure Sprint would want them to produce a wimax 4g wp7. Hp makes all the webos phones so if Sprint gets one and Hp doesn't wanna produce a wimax version no 4g webos phones will come to Sprint. If software makers and manufactures are not interested in Wimax and are more interested in lte Sprint could have a hard time making deals and beefing up there line up.

Haters gone hate. I never said I didnt like lte. I use whats best at the time Wimax was and still is the best option right now. Verizon has no 4g lte phones. But Sprint is fighting a uphill battle with being the only supporter of Wimax.

They are probably have trouble with manufactures putting wimax into the equation. Microsoft and Hp said they have no plans for wimax. This could mean Sprint has to pay an additional premium to get them to produce a wimax version thus driving up the cost of new wimax phones. Which doesn't look like a bad idea if verizon is charging 300.00 for the thunderbolt. That's the only reason I can think of that makes logical sense. Wimax 2 is ...

I could careless what tmobile post because the speeds they advertise cant hold water. I'm still waiting to see one person hit 21mbs on tmobile. Since the Vibrant 4g can do this theoretically I'd like to see a video of this in action or any of there other 4g phones get 14.4mbs.

I hope more people in this forum read this. They are basically saying verizon cannot change anyones grandfather plan and current customers who get a new phone are still grandfathered in. I also think verizon is smarter than this but I wont rule it out completely until the plans are announced.
