BTW if you travel you may like TripIt application. It is not a calendar but it can consolidate all your itineraries, rentals. Very nice.

I got almost twice faster speed in USB tethering mode. Got 5.5MB down vs 3 over WiFi. What are you getting?

Try both and make your decision. You can have Evo for free for 30 days as Sprint has 30 days free guarantee now. I love Evo after having Hero and Moment for some time. See my other post about $10 discount.

I realized you cannot set a private message if you are new on SprintUsers. Just send me email to d o m n i n @ msn.com with words HTC Evo Discount in subject and I'll send you details. $10 off on one line and $20 off on 2 lines Also additional $10 off on the hotspot option. That should work for new Sprint customers and for those who still under 30 days.

Yes, Android can have multiple emails accounts. But keep in mind that it'll drain more battery to check all of them. I would forward all hotmails to one to keep it more efficient.

I think the Weather Channel widget is the battery killer. After I deleted it it is much better now. It is trying to get GPS location too often I guess.

I'm fan of WM but I would probably agree with Steve Jobs on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfALGcDN EDw I look at WM as a working horse which may be ugly from some angles but does the job. iPhone is more like a nice toy made with a good taste.

I reflashed Sprint ROM with Juicy ROM 2.5 and Internet Sharing comes with it as a 3rd option when you plug in USB cable.

1st "battery eater" for me is MS Direct Push. The 2nd is data connection. With both of them off I'm getting just ~20-25% battery down per day.

Probably because it is not free if not included in plan. I was able to run Navigon 6 on Mogul and Touch with preloaded maps. Will try it on Diamond when I get it.

Why do you need old fashioned radio? Streaming radio is the way to go! Great choice for free music streams online. http://shoutcast.com/ I would never go back to FM radio since I started listening internet radio in my car via Mogul. Will do the same when I get Diamond.
