Considering the Razr is a thin delicate device, the moment it recieves any kind of shock, "POP". Now you have one phone in two pieces. ^^;; Oh the horrific calls we would get after that. :wink:

Speaking as a rep for Sprint who is specifically trained as an iDEN speciallist. We only get iDEN phones when Motorola decides to make them and releases them for use in the USA. We get to choose between the ones that are available, hense why we do not use the i876 and i877 like SouthernLINC has. The only phones we asked Motorola to make specifically were the PowerSource devices (ic902, ic602, ic502 and ic402) and even ...

No, this isn't Sprint. This is Motorola. Motorola is the company that controls iDEN and the Razr. Motorola was the one who dropped the ball.

I'm simultainiously suprized and worried about this. Suprized because its about time Motorola gets a iDEN Razr but worried for the people in the construction idustry who get this device.

No kidding. I hope other carriers adopt the same. If not, then it just makes Sprint Nextel just that much better than other companies. :D

Actually, that was Sprint saying that we would no longer extend contracts for rate plan changes last November (11-2007). I can confidently say that as a Sprint Nextel customer service rep. :)
