I work in Sams Club and my Kiosk is NOT owned and or operated by Sams Club to start with. I had this guy come in and sware that Wal Mart could sell him a Droid for 50.00 bucks with a one year contract. I told the guy there was no way in the world they could do that. Since Verizon only does 2 year contracts and well the Droid is a new device. He proceded to call me ...

I have seen a couple of things happen when a misguided rep pushes a complex phone on a clueless person. 1.Her kids, family etc. come in three months later and bitch you out and complain since a rep pushed a phone to her she did not really need. 2.Her grand kids get ahold of the phone and run up a crazy high bill. Or they text and DL ring tones with out grandma knowing and now shes stuck with ...

I work in the UK. Here it is AGINST the law to use a mobile phone and dirve a car. The law even bans the use of a handsfree device. A friend of mine got pulled over by the Suffolk Police Constabulary for talking while driving and they hit him with a 150 pound fine and six points on his DL. If you buy a phone from the UK you will have to pay the VAT (Value Added Tax) of 15.5% plus any shiping and import charges dependent on how they ship the phone. VAT is the British term for Sales Tax and its included in the price of what ever your buying. Dont let some one make you pay a VAT surcharge. Who are you looking to buy the phone from? Cheers James Vodafone UK rep.

Dude When I worked for RS we constantly out sold the Sprint and VZW store in the Mall. People would come to us since we had the handsets they wanted. I personaly was selling about 50-80 phones a month. Thats more then some sotores do in a month. It should be noted RS has been selling T-Mo on their website for months now so this was no suprise.

Got news for you. If you have ANY GSM provider with a phone that picks up the proper signal and the ability to roam outside of the USA. ( times out of 10 you will have serivce. It wont always be cheap but none the less you will have service. For instance in Qatar there is only one phone company and they charge most american and EU providers $2.99-3.99 per min. And dont buy that ATT crap of more ...

Find some one elce with T-Mobile and have them come to your house. If their phone does not work you will know 100% is its dead area or a potential tower issue. On the other hand there is a chance that your phone may not be picking up the tower. How old is your phone and what model is it?

Depending on where you are in western eroupe you Might roam off of o2. o2 is a large GSM wireless company based in Spain with networks mostly in the UK, Spain, Germany and a couple of other EU countrys. Keep in mind that you can pick the network you want to roam off of as well under network settings.

Re: Verizon Phone on Sprint?

Its possible but you need a rep from Sprint who can and wants to do it. See the issue is if a rep activates a VZW ESN on Sprints network the reps user name is flaged in the system. Chances are the rep will be fired for doing such a swap. And besides Sprint and VZW blocks each other ESN numbers in there account activation system, so another carriers ESN cant be activated on their network. If you ...

You have a couple of options. I would port your numbers out to a PAYG phone and then cancel the contract. After the contract is canceled sign a new contract and port your numbers back. Or if you dont care about your current phone number cancel and then join as a new customer. However you losse all you seniority as a customer. Or if all elce fails call CS and talk to customer retainment they should be able ...

Wow some one still has a activated Nokia 5180! Keep in mind a 5180 is only a dual mode handset meaning it does only 850Mhz and Analog. Most providers like Sprint, Verizon , old Skool Bell Atlantic and US Cell did away with that handset back in 2002 since most carriers went to a tri mode system before shuting down their old network .
