I'm leaving this blog. I can use correct language, I just choose not to when I type fast. But, I have recently found out that I have Cancer, and will be going for treatments and will not be online as often. So, for you all who have wondered who I am, I am an 18 year old Senior in High School named Tyler, clue to the "09" in my name, who had plans on going to College and working for Verizon ...

Its a good phone. 2.0 mega pix cam. V Cast Video and Music 3G EVDO. Touch music control. i like it better then the moto. i would go for it if your going to be going over seas alot. if not going but once, Verizon will allow you to rent the phone for how ever long your gone, you just give them your phone, and they will give you a CDMA/GSM phone.

Well, according to AT&T, using over 750 mins in a Roaming Area, in a 3-Way call, ect. is "Unreasonable Usage". The only network thats doesnt care how much you use what-so-ever is Verizon. Thats why they call theres Truly Unlimited Calling.

no, no credit check. but now that you said they are sending bills and all, you need to call them and get straight. Verizon doesnt really have as many bill problems now as they did. Just call them and get it worked out.

Auctually, that was true for Sprint 2 years ago, but its moving over to Verizon now because of there World phones, and 3G service nation wide. I know this because my father works for the Goverment. And no, Verizon has the best Data coverage world wide. http://news.prnewswire.com/DisplayRe leaseContent.aspx?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/1 2-23-2008/0004946349&EDATE=

im 110% sure. go read the news. everyone is talking about how Verizon is jumping on LTE while Sprint is like a snail on WiMax. Verizon is expanding LTE to 25-30 markets this SUMMER. Its already in 3-4 cities. And Verizon is superior. if it wasnt we wouldnt have the largest 3G network, great customer service, the best call quality, and the best ratings. Also, I dont see us bleeding customers unlike Sprint. haha!

 you can't put a lawsuit on someone for being fired when there location closed. Verizon had nothing to do with the closing of Circuit City. and not all of them were laid off. And the ones who were, where were they suppose to put them if the stores and call centers were full?? use your brain if you have one.

As for roaming, I'll enjoy being able to roam more on Sprint. While many see that as a downside, I see it as an upside. In other words, you roam more on Sprint, but you CAN roam more on Sprint. The best roaming agreements and voice coverage in America! That whole part confused me... alot.

There are no LTE phones out yet, and there wont be until LTE gets fully going in the World. But the Verizon GSM side of the phone will still work. you dont have anything to worry about. GSM will still be up with LTE.

LTE wont be out commercially till 2010 on Verizon, then later on for the others. Its being tested right now. This summer they will add it in 25-30 markets, like Verizon did with 3G EVDO. What country are you going to?

Re: LTE
Feb 21, 2009, 5:52 PM

short of 2 million? that stands for 145.8 million next, i have no idea where they got that number at. if you add the Sprint, Verizon, and USCC you get a little above 140.--- million. Canada has customers on CDMA which would put that total over 145.

Its going to be like this: Q)Verizon is working on its 4G network. This might suggest that Verizon is running out of 3G capacity. How long before Verizon's 3G network is tapped out? A)Lynch: We could go for years on our 3G architecture by adding capacity. And there are a lot of things you can do to add capacity. But they're all more costly than moving to 4G, and they offer the same performance people experience today. And eventually, we ...

Um.. no. All the Roaming in the US is called Extended Network on a Post Paid Plan. On Pre Paid plan, it says Roaming. Remember Verizon bought Alltel and most of Unicel, thats with the Alltel Coverage AND Unicel coverage. That "Roaming" is really the only "Roaming" Verizon has. Because you said thats not all there Roaming when it is. The Purple is there Native Coverage.

Yes, LTE uses SIM Cards. Yes, Verizon is getting away from the CDMA network. Yes, this means you wont need to change phones if you go over seas. And yes, you can use unlock phones.

haha, what a dumb @$$. 1st off, it was toward another post in the main post smart @$$. 2nd. GSM coverage is no where near as good as CDMA coverage in the US. 3rd. There is more CDMA customers in the US then GSM. Over 100 million maybe for GSM, but almost 200 Million for CDMA. 4th. Verizon will not have a GSM/UMTS network! WE DONT NEED IT! We will have only LTE and shut down the CDMA network once its complete. AT&T is not ready ...

Re: Is Wi-Fi possible without a data plan or being charged per KB?
Feb 21, 2009, 2:34 PM

The only phone that has WiFi that does not require a 29.99 data plan is the Samsung SCH-i760. Any other phone that came out on and after 11/2008 requires a data plan. You will need to DELEATE the Data Network in the phone so you wont be charged for Data even though its WiFi. Do this: Go to Start > Settings > Connections Tab > Connections > Manage Existing Connections. There should be some kind of data connection listed there. That's the one for ...
