I'm leaving this blog. I can use correct language, I just choose not to when I type fast.
But, I have recently found out that I have Cancer, and will be going for treatments and will not be online as often.
So, for you all who have wondered who I am, I am an 18 year old Senior in High School named Tyler, clue to the "09" in my name, who had plans on going to College and working for Verizon ...

i would go for it if your going to be going over seas alot.
if not going but once, Verizon will allow you to rent the phone for how ever long your gone, you just give them your phone, and they will give you a CDMA/GSM phone.

Well, according to AT&T, using over 750 mins in a Roaming Area, in a 3-Way call, ect. is "Unreasonable Usage".
The only network thats doesnt care how much you use what-so-ever is Verizon.
Thats why they call theres Truly Unlimited Calling.

Auctually, that was true for Sprint 2 years ago, but its moving over to Verizon now because of there World phones, and 3G service nation wide.
I know this because my father works for the Goverment.
And no, Verizon has the best Data coverage world wide.

everyone is talking about how Verizon is jumping on LTE while Sprint is like a snail on WiMax.
Verizon is expanding LTE to 25-30 markets this SUMMER.
Its already in 3-4 cities.
And Verizon is superior.
if it wasnt we wouldnt have the largest 3G network, great customer service, the best call quality, and the best ratings. Also, I dont see us bleeding customers unlike Sprint.

My uncle just switch to Alltel in Tupelo, MS.
he use to get full service in his house, then it slowly drop to 1 bar over thepast 2 years, now he did get any thing.
So he switch yesterday.

yea, pretty much what he is saying is when the Verizon merge is complete, dial *228, press SEND, then click option 2 and it will update your PRL (Prefered Roaming List) so you can access USCC network if you need to.

I heard of a PTT BlackBerry, but not 100% on that.

As for roaming, I'll enjoy being able to roam more on Sprint. While many see that as a downside, I see it as an upside. In other words, you roam more on Sprint, but you CAN roam more on Sprint. The best roaming agreements and voice coverage in America!

There are no LTE phones out yet, and there wont be until LTE gets fully going in the World.
But the Verizon GSM side of the phone will still work. you dont have anything to worry about.
GSM will still be up with LTE.

But more then likely they just deleted the charges because you would still be getting a bill even if you cancled, so i wouldnt worry about anything.

LTE wont be out commercially till 2010 on Verizon, then later on for the others.
Its being tested right now.
This summer they will add it in 25-30 markets, like Verizon did with 3G EVDO.

next, i have no idea where they got that number at.
if you add the Sprint, Verizon, and USCC you get a little above 140.--- million.
Canada has customers on CDMA which would put that total over 145.

Um.. no.
All the Roaming in the US is called Extended Network on a Post Paid Plan.
On Pre Paid plan, it says Roaming.
Remember Verizon bought Alltel and most of Unicel, thats with the Alltel Coverage AND Unicel coverage.
That "Roaming" is really the only "Roaming" Verizon has. Because you said thats not all there Roaming when it is.
The Purple is there Native Coverage.

1st off, it was toward another post in the main post smart @$$.
2nd. GSM coverage is no where near as good as CDMA coverage in the US.
3rd. There is more CDMA customers in the US then GSM. Over 100 million maybe for GSM, but almost 200 Million for CDMA.
4th. Verizon will not have a GSM/UMTS network!
WE DONT NEED IT!
We will have only LTE and shut down the CDMA network once its complete.
AT&T is not ready ...
