It doesn't brick the phone entirely, however if you remove the memory once its part of the memory, your phone will no longer turn on and you must restart the phone from scratch. So enter your email again, download everything, it will be as if it is a brand new phone. Same thing if you want to use the card. Samsung FOCUS
Is the only WM7 phone that supports a Micro SD card, however it cannot be removed once inserted. It becomes part of internal memory. So it has 8GB internal. If you add an 8GB card it will not show you 8GB internal and 8GB external. it will show you 16 GB internal, so removing the card would brick the phone.

I think the update to add copy and paste was pushed back from december to "early next year". So idk really. Apps and games are added daily, most of them are god awful, but some are good, they added flight control recently, which is a great game, and added assasins creed, which is eh! Not sure when more games will be added, but good free apps would be nice.

Im not saying it is ok, what i am saying is the micro sd slot is not for use the way it is on other phones, it is not made to be swappable, it is an option on the focus only, no other wm7 phone has a card slot at all, to expand the "internal" memory, not add a memory card. It would be nice for it to work like other phones, have phone memory separate from memory card, ...

Right, when you enter the card into the phone, it is not active until you format both the phone and the card. Once you do that the phone takes the card as built in internal memory, not an added sd card. So if you remove the card on the phone, phone will need full restore to get back up again. The system does not use the card as expandable memory, but increase the "internal" memory. Removing the card would ...

I believe any SDHC card with rates of around 6 Mbps or higher will work just fine with wm7 and not cause issues.As long as it can do those rates at a stable rate.

What type of card was it? the instructions clearly state to use compatible cards only, and cards that are compatible are already out, they are class 4 or class 10 cards only. So a 8gb class 2 card will have issues if used, might even fry. Because of this issue that most users do not know, they want people to wait until they have card that clearly state it works on the focus, instead of having to look at ...

I have the phone and as long as you use a class 4 or higher microSD card, you are good to go. It is very simply to swap out, took me 10 minutes to go from 8gb to 16 on the phone including the time to resync all my stuff.

The main reason ATT does not have any good nokia phones is not because nokia does not make any good GSM phones, they make some of the best GSM phones around, but only release them in other countries. Hey guys, I already rooted this thing running android 2.1 but i want to over clock the hummingbird using an overclock option that tells me to input the highest and lowest Mhz and I don't know what the highest and lowest would be. Cant find it online either. Any help??????????
Very difficult question about the phone and android.
My 3gs is currently not working and while I wait for a new screen and flex cables to fix it, I am going to upgrade to this phone, IF it works as I think. I have heard the bloatware is awful and plentyful. I am planning on rooting this phone, Once I do that can this run clean android, not At&t's android plus extras? thanks again.
