Any New 2G iPhones Anywhere?
I'm checking the Apple store every day seeing if they have any refurb iPhones there. But meanwhile, is there anyplace that has New iPhone 2Gs for sale still. I'm not paying $75 a month but i will pay $60 if I have to.

I don't know about apple. They have no power over the plan at all. On their end, they are selling it for half price. Its ATT that is subsidising the phone for $200 then charging you $360 more for it. I was one of the many people waiting for a cheaper iPhone. What I got was a more expensive one, I'm currently still with verizon.
Did *228, now I can't make calls
I did the *228 update on my phone, for the first time in a very long time. Since then, every time I make a call, I instantly lose all my signal, and get a 'no service' text on my screen. Eventually I get the "call failed". As soon as the call fails, the signal comes back.
Also my phone used to display 1X almost all the time. Now it mostly has a red EV but switches to 1X from ...
