i've played with both and decided to pass on both.
the g1 is too bulky and missing a few things that are important to me.
the behold has pages of problems that tmo knows about and is still launching the phone. the touchwiz interface is very nice and quite different from the instinct. the widgets are easy to move around and use. the phone eats up the battery too fast, the camera is very slow .. i mean very slow. ...

thats a shame. tmo tech support is usually very friendly. if you kept a record of dates and times of the calls you might want to send an email to tmo about the above.
Predictive Text?
Is there a way to turn off the predictive text feature. it actually slows me down when trying to use t-0 texting.

I have the same setup as you do. It won't work without using the VCAST version. I spent nearly an hour back and forth with Rhapsody a few nights ago. They only support like five cell phones ... the VZW version is needed to use. However if you don't have a VCAST phone, I have the Pearl, you're out of luck anyway.

Yes it was staged however the park on-lookers were not part of the staging. Just the Network people and the two buddies. The guys obviously were well mic'd.
It appears to be Balboa park in San Diego .. Just a guess but looks like it.
^ Music Artwork Issues & Questions
Why do you have to load the artwork as a separate process? Why can't it simply recognize the art like the ipod, blackberry, instinct and so on?
Also, if I use VCAST Rhapsody to go will it recognize the artwork?

that sounds good. i received a voice mail from hr that they are moving forward and if my info verifies they most likely will offer me a job. training would start in about 4 weeks and she said it will last 8 weeks.
btw is the phone and plan discount for employees pretty good? i'm with vzw now and they are pretty expensive over all.

Just would like to get your thoughts on which phone you feel would be the best buy? I use a phone for music, basic calendar appointments and gmail / yahoo plus some web browsing mostly news sites and sports sites.
