I had the iPhone (not even the craptacular iPhone 4) I had dropped calls at least every other call.
Been with Verizon now with the Droid...never had a dropped call. Yes I may have dropped from 3G to 1x a few times, but I use my phone as a PHONE - revolutionary I know.

Yes I have a Droid and it works wonderfully with my Macbook Pro. I've had the first gen iPhone and once I got the Droid....I never looked back. No more dropped calls...not even ONCE on Verizon.

Um.....The HTC Desire and the Incredible are essentially the same phone.
Except the Incredible has an 8MP camera and the Desire had an AMOLED screen.

If we are to believe Apple, Steve and the fan BOYS out there, iPhone outsells every other phone a gazillion to one. What do they have to fear from HTC and Android?

What good is a great phone on a sub par network? That's why I use Verizon for PHONE service and an iPod Touch for a TOY.
Just do a speed test
If AT&T is so upset that the map is misleading, let's put an iPhone and an Android phone to a speed test.
Let's test it in say Middle America where Verizon has 3G coverage and AT&T has their stellar Edge coverage.
Better yet, why don't we just test a crappy phone with web access like the Voyager and put it against AT&T's wunderphone... see which loads webpages faster.
IDEA: for Verizons next commercial. "Okay, AT&T covers 97% of the population with Edge...let's ...

The Droid is only the first phone with Android 2.0, there will be more on all carriers (not to mention the Android phones that are 1.5 and 1.6 currently on the market.
Android itself will quickly catch and then surpass sales of the iPhone since people will have choice.
