Oh please let it be amazing!!! I'm a little sick of Internet Explorer as well as Opera

Just get a browser to work!!!!

in the Article: Hands-On: BlackBerry Storm forum

Being a former iPhone crackhead I came away from this review extremely impressed, except for the damn browser again. No matter what service or phone I look at, no one can beat the iPhone browser. But looking at every other option, this might be the phone to challenge the iPhone. Good luck Blackberry! P.S. Amazing review as always guys!

in the Article: Review: HTC Touch Diamond forum

I have to say, after reading this review, the Diamond doesn't look too bad. Being that I already own the HTC Touch, I'm extremely happy that HTC decided to expand on the Touch Flo user interface. I only wish my touch could adapt it. Now on to a sprint store and to play with the new phone!

Hey there W, I've experienced something very similiar regarding the 6900 not responding when I connect the cable from the USB to the phone. While connected, open the application "Active Sync". This should fix the issue.

Re: Cost of Visual Voicemail?

Any wireless provider knows the original caller, however any "restricted caller" cannot be viewed by the cell phone, not the software associated with the service provider.

The other nice thing about the Premium and Select Plans is that the unlimited messaging includes text, picture, video, any other messaging service you can think of. In fact, the only way I'd imagine you would pay more is if you went over your minutes. Although it's a rare event, I havn't seen it ever at our store.

If you look at the features of the Verizon visual voicemail versus... say the iPhone, there are a few additional benefits of it. In the event someone were to leave you a voicemail and not leave their number, you will still have the option of calling them back, regardless of their number being restricted or not. Also, a big thing is the ability to download the voicemails, in case it's important or irreplaceable.

Re: Dare I be Disappointed?

You know, that makes a whole lot of sense. I currently have an iPhone, and I love the fact that it syncs up with my computer (although the mobile me thing has quite a few bugs to work out). But if I were to use my iPhone as an iPod touch replacement it wouldn't really hurt. Bkai, do you own the LG Dare, or have you tried out the phone in another way. I'm seriously ...

Re: 8350 or W755?

in the Motorola W755 forum

Oh no doubt it's personal preference. Sadly I've had a dud on both Moto and LG, the Razr V3 and the LG 8700 (Shine) Both got really messed up the longer I used them, but hey, you have to look at it that we're constantly getting better quality the longer we use cell phones. I only side with Moto on this because of the more complete outer display as well as the metal accents on the ...

bkai, I just thought I'd let you know that this one post probably had more thought into it then almost anything I've seen. Thanks for your insight and analysis, it's about time someone can make a comment while still backing it up with a logical argument.

Re: FM transmitter on Chocolate 3

in the LG Chocolate 3 VX-8560 forum

Actually you can adjust the frequency. Jagguar, those are just the default stations that the Chocolate 3 has. You can set those defaults to anything. Also a huge benefit to this is that if reception for one station is sketchy; you will be able to adjust the other presets so there's even less time with the loud static that gets through

I'll tell ya, when compared to something like the Samsung u550. They're basically the exact same. Both feature wise and the general look to them. Still, Motorola as a company royally messed up on the V3. Anytime I see a customer with one of those I'm 90% sure that there is a battery problem. Hope it doesn't mess up on this phone. But otherwise, for those of us who don't need over the ...

Re: 8350 or W755?
Jul 17, 2008, 5:22 PM
in the Motorola W755 forum

I personally prefer the Moto over the LG hands down. While style is a huge thing that the Motorola has, it also feels a whole lot more solid in your hands. While using the 8350 it felt as though the plastic was cheaply made. Also I like the redesign of the menu system that Motorola has opted to go with. While it doesn't give a whole lot of changes, it's a welcome change over the ...

Re: Venus or Pearl?
Jul 6, 2008, 1:55 PM
in the LG Venus VX-8800 forum

Well, because we are comparing the Venus (which is a Verizon exclusive) I assume we are comparing the Verizon service on both. And Verizon does require you to sign up for the unlimited data plan on the pearl due to the fact that Blackberries update themselves every 4 minutes. However this data plan is exclusive to Blackberries unlike the Moto Q as well as the Palm Treo. Hope I clarified a little for ya

Re: America's Choice plan vs. Nation plan
Jul 2, 2008, 9:08 PM
in the Verizon forum

Basically the megabyte usage is how much data is sent from your phone to Verizon and from Verizon to your phone. Logically, text such as emails and basic websites will take up a whole lot less than a picture file or a video. If you wanted to read emails on your phone I would first recommend the mobile email application for you. Although it is lacking when it comes to overall quality. Also if you ...

A stylus is included. Although I personally don't think that handwriting is all that useful for the cell phone market. Might as well use the QWERTY for any notes. Whole lot faster
