Your I-wanna-be-a-moderator comments are unbecoming... If any of the carriers here do as they do in Canada and go down the 3 year contract road, then you will probably see a lot of people in an uproar. I see the value in a 1 year contract, but like you said, we'll all be tied to a carrier... oh well.

There is not data cap... they just throttle the hell out of it to make it super slow... Dumb*** should not be suing... Will this maybe have an effect on AT&T Post-Paid Plans in the Future? You can only get unlimited talk on AT&T (No Texting) for $99. Now, I know the coverage area is much smaller with Pre-paid because it is using AT&T's True Network, but Honestly, this is a really great deal coming from AT&T! I wonder if this their post-paid plans will come down in the near future...
