Not an online exclusive, but the stores probly don't want to stock and advertise them. I work for VZW in a call center, and I have not talked to one customer who has had one since they have been available. It has been out just over a year now. When I was in sales for VZW, I sold one... just one.

Blarg! Just noticed this don't even have BT... Maybe a little too basic..... It is amazing how Verizon charges for phones that don't offer any features, but give Chocolates away for free. o.O

It is not the only basic phone. You forgot the ugly, but yet still sold, CDM 8905. No camera, no bluetooth, really basic.
The Knack is definitely an upgrade for people on these older models to still get basic features, and anymore bluetooth is basic. Mandatory in some states, so definitely a welcome feature.
2.0 jailbreak?
Anyone know if there has been a 2.0 unlock/jailbreak released?

Hell, I work for customer care, and in my opinion, you all are horrible! I have so many people call me PISSED about both direct stores and third party retailers. Horrible.
Do you know how many accounts I have to fix from stores messing up? Rediculous!

Just unlock one yourself. Easy, and I still get all the goodies. MMS, Wi-fi, and unlimited web with only T-Zones.

How acurate is it? Any drawbacks?

Do you have to write one letter, wait for it to process, then write another? Or can you write multiple letters ar once?
It don't seem very logical to one by one it, unless you are to lazy to tap the phone style keypad.

I don't see the point of Paying $30 for the AT&T iPhone data, then using wifi. Why pay $30 for net, when you plan on using FREE wi-fi? I would rather use the EV-DO that I am paying for. It is MOBILE web, who cares if it is super-ultra-mega fast? ITS MOBILE!!!!

I have to agree with this too. Some of the people that work in my department would be better off doing other things. False information because they do not have an answer that they know.

Yes, good one. Too bad Verizon still leads the market for most customers. We don't know what the hell we're talking about, but we always seem to come out in the end. Nice.

This does not really pertain to this phone in General, but one of the features of the up and coming LG Dare is an "Accelerometer" WHAT IS THIS? I work for Verizon myself and I am confused about this!
Alarm clock on dash?
Where is this alarm clock? I had to download an alarm clock program separate, and I could never find the alarm clock app on Windows. WTF?! Am I blind, or is it hard to find?

Totally aggree. Got my Pocket Nester NES Emulator, Vtap for youtube, and a bunch of other awesome apps. This is a useful phone, even with the small processing power. For the price, can't be beat! I love my Dash!
