Hey kittykt827! I own this phone, and I never experienced a problem like this. If his died overnight on 2 bars, then take it back and tell the techs what has been happening.Could be a bad battery, maybe. I don't know all you do on your phone for it to go so fast after it gets down to 2 bars. I talk, text, scroll through different wallpaper sites, etc. That's about all. So my battery lasts fairly well. You ...

Thanks, coasterguy! Yes your feedback does help a lot. As I said before, the keypad looks like the one on the Moto W 755. On the 8360, it is a decent size, and very easy to text. I think the smudging would drive me nuts. I know a lot of phones smudge some, but if this one is ALL glossy, then like you said, it's pretty bad. Thanks much for the feedback!!! :D

To the people who own this phone, it's definitely a fingerprint magnet, right? I have heard that Nokia wasn't that great on the Verizon network, but this phone from all of you seems to be great! Is the keypad brightly lit? And what color is the keypad when it is lit up? I am reading call quality and sound are great, loud ringers, etc. The only thing that would bug me is that it sounds like a smudge magnet. ...

Hi jewels! I have my keypad volume turned off also, and this is just the way the keypad is. It will click some, but to me, it's not that loud. I mean, it doesn't bother me, but everyone is different. Overall, I love this phone. It does everything I need and very well at that. I feel it is pretty solid. I guess you can't avoid the clicking, but as I said, to me it's not that bad, but ...

Hi old male! First, yes, my bluetooth is off, I really don't use that feature. As far as the battery life, if you are just talking, it depends, cause some days are different than others. Some people talk for hours, others just a little and so on. I would say for me, the battery lasts at least 3 or 4 days, and that's with average talking, texting, and scrolling through wallpaper sites. But depending on how you use it ...

Hey Analogphoneguy! You know if you get the 8360, you have 30 days to try it out. I own this phone and love it. It's solid, great reception, loud ringers, clear screen, inside and out, great battery life, awesome deep blue color with light grey keypad, easy texting, and you can read texts on front screen. Most of the reviews for this phone are very positive. Give it a shot, you can always return it if you don't like ...

I've always had cable also. Plus, both my tv's are pretty new. I still say they should have kept the original change date. Is it other people's fault they ran out of money and coupons? They have advertised this for soooooo long, that I can't believe most people would not be ready. I guess I can see both sides, but I still say, they should have kept it for Feb. 17th!! EVERYONE had PLENTY of time!!

No problem, mellowlen62! Thanks for the response. I for one, love how it looks, the color, easy to text, call clarity crystal clear, as well as speakerphone. Great battery life, loud ringers, just to name a few things. And no offense taken, no sweat. :)

Mellowlen62! The people who are paying full price for this phone, including me, are the one's who's contract isn'y up yet,and maybe they want to get rid of what they have. everyone's opinion will be different. I had the W755, and I like the 8360 much better. I don't like Moto's in the Verizon network. They are too slow, lag, etc. I've heard others say the same. You don't have to leave your Moto if you don't want. We ...

In my opinion, I feel you have to push a little harder, since the buttons are flush witht he phone, they are not raised. It takes some seconds for the music screen to come on. If you get this phone, let me know how you like it, hopefully you do. So far it's a 5 star rating! Good luck! :D

Hi Bikerdan! No, for me it isn't as easy as the 8300. You really have to push kind of hard on it, and when you do, it doesn't pop up immediately. It takes some seconds. Of course, I keep mine in my purse, but I tried it with my fingers, and with the 8360 in my opinion is a little harder to do that. Now if you carry it in you pocket and have something leaning on the buttons ...

No problem, bikerdan! I did try and hold down the buttons, and the music list comes on, although I have nothing on there, I felt as though I had to press down pretty hard, and for at least 5 to 10 seconds before that screen came up. But I can understand for a man, why that might be a pain, if you have something pressing against it. But like I said, I had to press pretty hard and for ...

Bikerdan! Sorry, maybe I just didn't hold that button down long enough or something. I'm not sure if it has a lock, you might have to go to the store and ask a rep. So sorry I couldn't help with this issue. I really thought it didn't play, I guess like I said, I must have not held down button very long. Sorry, let me know how you made out.

Hi Bikerdan! when I purchased my 8360, it wasn't even in the Verizon stores yet. I still don't know if it is. I called the 1-800 customer service, and ordered it that way. My contract was not up either, but I had the Moto Adventure, and I hated it. I bought this phone at retail price which is $239.99. I flipped over it, and let me tell you it was worth every penny!! This phone is fabulous! It does ...

Hi HandyGuy! Yes, the contacts I think are very easy to look up. I don't have quite that many, but like with the W755, just go to contact list, and they are there. Actually, I think it's pretty similar, if not the same as the Moto. Only a lot quicker. Let me know how you like it. Sure hope you do, or I'd feel stupid ranting and raving about it so much, lol!! Hey chappie! Is there any way that you can pay full retail for this phone? My new every two is not up for quite awhile, and I had the Motorola Adventure. Hey mellowlen62! I love the color. And trust me it is blue. When I first saw a picture of it, I thought it was black, but it's a deep blue with a pretty light grey interior. It is very lightweight, but really packs a punch. For some reason, Moto's on the Verizon network, really lag and are slow. When I had the Adventure, it was very slow, the screen froze quite a bit, to the point where I'd have ...

Hi HandyGuy! I don't mind questions, really. I just feel bad if I can't help. I like texting on the 8360 a lot better. And that is beacause of the size of the keys, very comfortable, they are raised some, and like with the W755, the keypad was flat and to me very narrow, so sometimes I was hitting one key and bumping another one. These are large, but not overly so, and like I said, very comfortable to ...

oops, sorry, don't know what happened there. No, Bill I didn't use the Backup Assistance so I couldn't answer that question for you. I know how hard it is to make a decision on a cell. Hi HandyGuy! I used the speakerphone to call someone, and yes, it is 2 way. It is like talking to someone on a regular phone. To me the sound is clear and crisp. Hi HandyGuy! Haven't really had a chance to fool around with the speakerphone, but I saw in the specs also, that it is full-duplex. It is a 2 way simultaneous talk. I even checked with verizon tech support on those issues. So I hope that helps. He said it had 2 speakers in it. Sorry couldn't give you much more information. Hi blackburn5! There is no talking caller id, bur when you get a call, it shows up on the screen, who;s calling, which is cool, not just a beep when it comes through.Don't do individual ringtones/photoID's, so I couldn't tell you that. You could find out from the customer service 1-800 number. The front display is awesome. Bright and clear in my opinion. Nice size also. Like it a lot better than the W755 I had. Yes, I also had the Moto W755. To be honest, I like this one better. I love LG's to begin with, and they work well with Verizon. The W755 was built like a tank, but this is very solid, I feel also. And I love the look of this one. Deep Blue, with a light grey interior, brightly lit white keypad. Battery life is better thab the Moto. You get like 5.3 hours of average talk time, and about ...

You are not kidding!! I hate Motos with Verizon. I remember the 8300 with the blue keypad. That's ok, no big deal. I like how the color of the keypad is evenly lit. On the Adventure I had, you had the numbers 123 brightly lit, then the others were kind of dull. I am so glad I got rid of it. I think this will be a good seller for Verizon. Thanks for replying.

This phone is not fat at all, mellowlen62. It is a very nice size and fits into your hand very comfortably. I had the 8300, which I liked also, but that one was a little bulkier than this one. Verizon did good with this one!!

Hi Cellenator! I got this phone today, and I just love it. By the way, the backlight on the keypad is white, not blue. But that's fine with me, it is nice and bright, call clarity excellent, gorgeous deep blue color, with the light grey interior. so glad I purchased it. battery life is awesome. Can't really think of any cons at this point. :D

Thanks cellenator! I'm glad it's blue, it's my favorite color, and I've always liked it for the backlight for a phone keypad. I used to have the 8350, what crap that was, and the backlight was a dull white. Overall, the phone was made crappy, very cheap. Thanks again for the response, really appreciate it. :D
