They won't. HTC decided that the processor can't handle them, plus they didn't want the battery life to be affected, so Live wallpapers are not allowed. not ones from the market or 3rd party APK's.

No, it wouldn't work. the 3G bands are different for ATT And Tmobile. you could get EDGE coverage and be able to make/receive calls/SMS, but no 3G. Just go to Tmobile. lol :D

As of right now, they're saying that no, it cannot be upgraded to WP7, but hopefully that will change due to popular cust demand. Plus, there are already hacked roms that allow WP7 to be loaded onto the phone.

actually, the N900, according to your post, only uses 1700 for 3G, which means it won't work on Tmo's 3G network anyway. we use a dual band 2100/1700 3G, which means if it only has one of those bands, it won't work. stay on ATT. :lol:

Unfortunately, no, the MyTouch 3G will not have UMA (which is the ability to make calls over WiFi). It has 3G, and as of right now (and the forseeable future) there will not be a phone that combines both UMA and 3G technologies because the radios are too large to fit both, and they are both hard core battery hogs (or so I've heard from phone manufacturers). The MyTouch will have internet over WiFi, though, much like the G1.

When a cust calls into you and tells you that there is a red LDI, it does NOT MATTER that they are under their 1 year warranty! Oh, and just because they say that the phone hasn't been dropped in water does NOT mean anything. DO NOT TRANSFER them back to me!! :evil:

Lol, it's me! I'm in warranty too! I just had a cust tell me she was on hold for 40 minutes, and she wasn't the only one! I just can't believe how busy we are...

Yep, same for us. Used to be 14th, but got extended to the 21st. BTW, we just had 2 sups walked off our floor, and they are tlaking about laying off 60-70 reps for a company wide down size. have you heard of anything like that?

We haven't gotten it yet! We've been so swamped, that they're saying that they can't spare us long enough for the training! So...it's being pushed off til the calls drop off...if they ever do. It sucks! I was totally looking forward to some training!!

...true. I work for warranty for ATT, and have gotten an inordinate amount of calls on this phone. However, I'm noticing most of the issues are with the phones that were purchased in November, since that was the first month it was released. I have gotten very few calls on phones bought after that timeframe, so I think you might be OK if you got one now.

Thank you! That really does mean a lot to me! And yes, that's basically what is happening at my current employer. There is no job security or employee loyalty. I think the main reason is because I do not work directly for ATT, I work for a contractor, which makes it harder because all they want to do is kiss ATT's butt, and will throw a rep under the bus to do so. I have been here for about ...

She was having the memory leak happen quite often (which 4.5 helps quite a bit with) and she was getting application errors, which I would have had to have her do a master reset for. Having her DL the new software version kind of killed 2 birds with 1 stone. Also, that is what our BP's tell us to do, so right or wrong, I wasn't getting a bad QA for her.

I do NOT get paid enough for this!

I have a lady on the phone who I have now been talking to for over an hour. She was having sofware issues with her Blackberry 8310. She was running software version 4.3 and based on the issues she was having, I advised her that I wouldn't be able to trade out her phone until she was able to DL version 4.5 to her phone. Well, she didn't know how to do that. And she didn't have the desktop ...

This is a personal decision that is based on 1 main factor: How is the coverage for both options in your area? Because no matter how much cheaper the Boost option may be, if it doesn't have good coverage in your area, then the savings don't really mean much. And vice versa. If Boost has the same or better coverage, then the savings will make sense. But that is something that only you can answer.

I'm in New Mexico. I just asked my sup, who I am really cool with, about XBM moving overseas and us doing retention, and she said she hasn't heard anything, but she'll keep an ear out. How long have you been there? Is job security not as much of an issue up there as it is here?

Lol, I wasn't worried about being stalked so much, I just thought it was cool that you knew where I worked just from that. And, if it is true, that's awesome cuz I'm tired of warranty. I did retention for Sprint, and I miss it. I wish I was able to do more for customers than I can here. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
