I was in the same boat as conan1071 - I had the Blackberry 8830 and returned it for the Q9c which I prefer highly. Sometimes it can be a bit slow, but nothing too painful. I also love having WM6.

Q9c Battery Drains when No Service

I got the Motorola Q9C this week and I'm noticing that while I'm at work, I have very intermittent service at best. I am noticing that while at work, my phone's battery dies very quickly. In the morning it's fully charged and by the end of a 9 hour day my phone has died. Any recommendations on how to stop this from happening?
