I don't think it would be in Sprint's or T-Mo's best interest to merge. Just because T-Mo has the CS Dept. covered doesn't mean that it will work. Look at what happened to the merger with Nextel; Sprint was at the time one of the largest all digital network carriers as well as the first with 3G out the door (I don't think in all major markets though, but most), and Nextel had the lowest churn in the ...

No, I don't think that it will save them (loosing more money than they are worth?!?! Who does that?), but for those that don't need to use CS all the time and are more interested in getting the most for their money Sprint is the lesser of two evils. I would still prefer AT&T, but their data network was no match to VZW or Sprint on a national scale.

No, it does not, WiMax is I believe where that may appear. However, 3G is NOT required to allow for sim. data and voice; 3G is for speed...GSM is the only one to be able to offer simultaneous data and voice, and that is do to it's packet system. It is nice to have the ability to do data and vocie at the same time, but it is misinformation to state that it is a requirement for it to ...

Yes, HSDPA has a faster speed when it can achieve that point. However, like i said what good is faster when it is only available in a very limited number of markets. As far as HSDPA "actually" being faster, HSDPA is not consitent with it's speed, Rev A has the same potential to achieve speeds of up to 3.1 Mb/sec. Keep in mind, that if you travel outside of your city, your HADPA coverage is no where until you ...

I agree Sprint CS may suck balls and even some extra, BUT...it can't be denied that their data network is far superior to that of any current wireless carrier, with only VZW coming close (Rev A coverage in most parts of the US is superior to 3G in less than half of the available coverage). It's not just about having great CS, it's also about coverage and price. Sprint has the price and the coverage (people can't deny that, ...
