This explanation came from Reddit: For all you wondering how they can tell: All IP packets have something called a TTL associated with them. It stands for Time To Live. Every "hop" along the network from one router to the next reduces the TTL by one. When it reaches 0, the packet is dropped. This was introduced to keep routing problems from overloading the network. I have to agree it's noticeably faster at start up and rendering pages. Also, the zooming functions are definitely better with this version. I've been using the Skyfire browser with the N95-4. Great so far but I've only spent a couple minutes with it this morning.

Yeah, I believe the .85 version is the only option available for download right now. I can't wait for N97 to come out, but my N95 isn't even a year old so I'm hold off a bit before I get the N97... I usually check out: http://www.symbian-freak.com They usually post symbian related news pretty fast and thats how I found out about the latest version of skyfire for symbian.

Version .85 for symbian is available. I've had it on my N95 8GB for about a month now. Still has a some bugs but works better than the previous version.

according to the operating manual on the fcc site it looks like the only difference between the k850i and the k850a is that the k850a doesn't have the forward facing camera for video calls... I've heard so many rumors about this phone coming to AT&T and I hope something can be worked out between SE and AT&T...
