This one really bothers me due to the fact that Best Buy mobile has gone public with their desires to control the mobile phone game.
With Big Box Stores setting up and buying out all the competition, it makes it hard for Smaller ventures like the one I work for to stay in business.
When will someone step up and say enough is enough. Come on for real BB. You are as bad as Walmart!

If there was a cost difference to use a 4g device ( mind you I can only speak of my carrier ) Then there should be some regulation by the FCC or state attorney. All consumers have the ability to do their research just as many of us on phone scoop do ( even the fan-boys who skew it to their own agenda).
I will not get into a debate on who is best and who's marketing is true. ...

At&t acquiring T-mo is a great thing. At&t is a union shop and T-mo is not.
People ( good employee's ) will benefit.
As for the competition aspect T-mo does not influence competition NOW. Anymore than DSHS and welfare influence the job market. So will them being gone negatively affect competition? NO!
VZW is keeping their nose out of it because AT&T stayed out of their All-tell buyout.
VZW knows that when At&t has to divest ...

Ok skywalker i never tried to say T Mobile was not going to get it. I am not going tto get into a war of phones. I know that allot of the models T Mobile and AT&T share. I was only confirming that MY channels stated that AT&T IS going to carry it.
If T Mobile gets it I will be happy for them. I believe in open handset availability.

Here is the thing that boggles me
We had the 8300 then got the GPS variant 8310.
We had the 8100 then got the GPS variant 8110.
The 8900 has GPS!
So what does the xx10 stand for.
I was led to believe by my Blackberry rep that:
xx00 base model
xx10 + GPS
xx20 + WIFI
xx30 = cdma
I do not think I know all, so if someone has more knowledge than me and is able to share it with out being a condisending jerk ( thats what allot of people tend to ...

If you new how major corparation like these worked you would now that things like this do not get done in four hours.
Both of these companies have had these plans in the works for months.
It takes alot of time to write the code to redo the billing system to alow for new plans. They both aare planning to roll the plans out in a few days.
THEY HAD THESE IN WAITING!!!

I have to say that phone scoop has always been good to me about info.
But on this one they came up slow. I have been using a wifi router that supports multiple devices for about a month.
I have an 8925 tilt with the wifi router and it works great.
And for what the person says in the other thread, Yes it really does drain your battery.
The tilt is known to have a short battery life as is, ...
