.. its as if Sprint actually did something personal to them. Do they not see that wimax is good for competition? I've experienced WiMax in hawaii (clearwire) and the service was phenomenal. Now to imagine that x10 plus the backing of google, intel, etc.... I can't wait. Sprint is moving towards a more Data centric provider.. don't only think about mobile phones people! use your imagination... the possibilitie are endless in what consumer devices wimax can ...

... that if WiMax is rolled out on schedule Sprint is going to have a huge headstart especially in the business sector. "Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom" and i think Sprint is making the right moves to re-establish itself. Wimax is going to kick ass. With Wimax it takes less towers to support far more users than the current cellular technology we are using today. So what does sprint do... sell ...

what the hell?! add the cost of the memory and its still cheaper than an iphone 3g. If we're talking about cost the Instinct is still cost less. Plus if you did not buy an iphone 2g b4 july 11 you are not eligible for the upgrade price of 199/299. For new customers its 399/499!

****en Idiot. LOL did you even read my post moron. I mentioned i do have a SERO plan.... with that aside... "if i had to choose a plan and I had a PDA/Blackberry/Smartphone and wanted to take advantage of all its features... Sprints Everything plan blows everything away." Were talking strictly voice/data/gps nav/ and other features on the plans dimwit. And fact is Sprints Everything Plan kills AT&T. I never knocked the Iphone and I never even mentioned ...

bruuuhahahaha! AT&T are ripping people a new one LOL. I got a Sero plan... nothing advertised on the market beats that. BUT if i had to choose a plan and I had a PDA/Blackberry/Smartphone and wanted to take advantage of all its features... Sprints Everything plan blows everything away. Voice/Turn by turn NAV GPS, Sprint Music, Sprint TV, Unlimited data, Unlimited Blackberry Internet service, oh yeah and TXT/VIDEO MSG is also included. 450 - 70.00 900 - 90.00 Unlimited - 100.00 ...

in the Article: Sprint to Launch Baltimore WiMax Network In September forum

I agree. What i believe is going to happen is Sprint is going to be seen as more than just a cell phone company but as as full fledged broadband /data provider. Sprint is saying that the system will be open. Anybody with a compatible device can use thier service. With intel making the chips i guarantee that there will a a whole slew of devices incorporating wimax tech. As a previous article mentioned (can't ...

I agree to each is own that why i previously said "Im not saying that sprint as an overall company is perfect but from a technology and network perspective has served me far better than att and tmobile." And if you look at the comments on the article that engadget based their blog entry on http://www.computerworld.com/action/artic le.do?command=viewArticleBasic&taxonomyName=m obile_and_wireless&articleId=9083559&taxonomy Id=15&intsrc=kc_feat you will read that the article was flawed (for many reasons i don't have time to get into) and seems bias. Fact: if you leave ...

I would still take sprint over att when it come to broadband. The 20.00 i would save is well worth not being locked indoors for faster connections at a Starbucks, Barnes, or Donalds. If your not in those shops or within 3-5 miles of a metro area, you're **** out of luck with your internet speeds if your w/ATT. That is a fact. I have friends that have to use ATT cards for their work because of their ...

WTF? How do you come to that conclusion from "sprint is going to be 2-3 years ahead of the network your currently on." and with the article stating that WiMAx will be rolled out to other markets by the end of the year? Dam did Sprint physically molest you? All your comments have been negative towards Sprint without any factual basis. If it wasn't clear for you.. (assuming that the roll out will be on schedule) Wimax will ...

Whats up with all the sprint haters here?!

Haha ... its so funny. Mobile quality is all subjective. In my case Southern Californa Sprint rocks! I get fast speed, clear calls, and rarely dropped calls. I can tether my phone to my laptop and get speeds fast as low tier DSL. All along while friends of mine can't even use their mobile phones in their homes because of bad reception. LOL. And others friends, to get near speeds that i get on ...

can you explain why it is garbage? From what i have read so far looks like its going to be great. Faster than ANYTHING currently deployed by any other carrier here in the US. Sounds like you're locked into a carrier other than sprint  and sad to hear that sprint is going to be 2-3 years ahead of the network your currently on.
