I really do like this phone, but man has Palm faded. When the Treo 650 came out in 2003, it was hailed as a huge step for PDA's. Since then Palm has not made a single, meaningful update. Minor hardware updates in the form of a little more Memory. The Centro can handle a larger, 4GB card. But everything else is the same. The OS has a so-called update, but I have not noticed anything new with it. The ...

Nope. Cheaper data plan, faster data speeds with Sprint, but the same old dated phone.

It's a good PDA, even though it is a Treo 650 that came out in 2003, and has never been updated in any meaningful way. I like the phone, but it is sad that Palm has not bothered to make any upgrades, unless you consider a smaller size an upgrade. If Palm doesn't make something new soon, they are going to die and then fade away. In 5 years the Treo has made no steps to compete with Sumsung, Moto, Nokia, ...

Umm, $49.00 for an AT&T data plan, or $15 with Sprint?

AT&T really needs to stop selling PDA's. They charge more then any other carrier for PDA data access. Their network is a patchwork of rural roaming agreements and slow EDGE. Does anyone here really waste money with AT&T? So let's see, $49.99, with limited roaming, slow data speeds, costly third-party services, cap limits on data. Or $15 with Sprint that includes, free Verizon & Alltel data roaming, no cap limits, full, lest costly TV and radio services. I just don't see ...
