In my opinion, you should be done with Samsung too. Not a lot of experience with Apple, but of all the other major manufacturers, my experience with HTC has been far more consistent and superior with hardware and software. Samsung continues to let me down.

So basically, he admitted to wasting his and the reps time with a question he didnt need the answer to. His goal was to get a ludicrous answer just to come back to report it here. When customer's always ask for device opinions, its best to just report facts about a device and advise the customer to go get a feel for the device and check specifics for themselves; what is acceptable for me, may not be acceptable for others. ...

Re: Contract Buyout?

This has to be the worst post I have ever read to justify higher prices. You couldn't have possibly thought this through before you posted it. You sir, should be embarrassed for yourself. There may be some valid reasons to why you think Verizon's prices are higher, but you have failed miserably in presenting any of them so far.

He is cool dude, but seriously..... :? I think Cellenator throws his opinions in strongly (Sprint is failing at marketing the device), but gives credit where credit is due(admits the Pre looks like it will be awesome)

Although I can't stand you, that was actually pretty funny. I give props when props are due. You're still a douche though.

You actually make me miss Cellenator's post. You have to be the biggest tool on the forum. I am ashamed that you work for the same company (if you really do)

Well said sir. I have seen the same complaint in each carrier's forum. I do wonder why everyone thinks they are entitled to the most expensive phone for free though.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the issue more than just different options? Isnt there some sort of network capacity issue, hence the data caps now?

Or the catch that you have to buy up all the additional services such as data and messaging. Still a good deal, but slightly misleading.

Your opinion on how bad WinMo is, does not represent the majority. There is a reason why WinMo phones sell very well. There may be better operating systems for phones, but that doesnt mean that WinMo sucks.

Re: Lotus or PRE

yes it was, and sorry to come off so harsh. We had the same issue with the Touch Pro. We get some complaint like "yeah how you offer it to new customers at a discount but those that been with you for years cant get it at the discount price." never mind they upgraded 3 months ago.

Re: Lotus or PRE
Feb 11, 2009, 3:36 PM
in the Sprint forum

Just wait and get the Pre. Nothing is more annoying than when customers get upset because they want the hottest new phone, and are not eligible for an upgrade, and wont pay full price. We had this issue tenfold with the damn Instinct. So since you are aware of the Pre, just do us all a favor and wait on it

I read his stuff over at Verizon forums, and although I will be more than happy to accept new sprint subscribers, his premise does worry me. If he has a valid contract that he wants out of, he should pay the ETFs.

Or he should just buy a cheap phone to use as a backup while his other is being serviced. If his cell is worth thousands of dollars of business to him, you would think he would be saavy enough to have a contingency plan.

Re: Customer Service - Store vs. Phone
Jan 18, 2009, 4:43 PM

I recommend that if you are doing account maintenance things only, such as a plan change, just call customer care, you are wasting gas and time going to the store. The plans as stated before, are what they are and are listed descriptively online, so no misquotings can take place. If for some reason you can get "free" data which is extremely unlikely, that will definitely not happen at the store level, the slim chance there is exists only ...

Jan 12, 2009, 2:21 PM

Well I do apologize I did misread somewhere. But my point still stands, even if you ordered it online, and dont like the color, send it back immediately, within your thirty days. You dont even have to give them a reason. Just send it back for a full refund. Then after thats sorted out. Order the phone/color you want.

That is such a fantastic post. Bravo. You managed to deliver a well thought out point, without bashing someone or another service provider. You should be applauded for your mature ability to communicate and not come across as a whiny crybaby or flame thrower just because someone has a different choice than you. What people realize it is to their benefit that Sprint succeed with its goals to turn the company around. It will force the carriers that they ...

Doesnt that seem like a stupid reason to switch? Shouldn't you know if you like the color or not the day you buy it at the store? Stop being ridiculous.

Re: Sprint says they can't honor a quote I got twice
Jan 8, 2009, 2:52 PM

What is the problem with just adding features or services at current prices? It is not the company's fault that you NOW choose to add features or new subs. Customer always need a "deal" to remain a customer, but in reality it is far more expensive to move all of your lines to another carrier, and you will be subject to their current pricing as well, which of course is more expensive than Sprint anyway.

Re: Let the failure begin
Nov 30, 2008, 4:24 PM

Your post makes little sense, I am embarrassed for you. Why would anyone invest in something if they felt it was doomed. obviously they seem some potential. Not saying it will be a guaranteed success, but respected big wigs have given it the green light. Instead of hoping other companies fail, you should want to see other companies succeed, it promotes economic growth and better competition. You should want another company to force your carrier to step their game ...

Re: Really Bad Move by Sprint ( again)
Nov 5, 2008, 7:19 PM
in the Article: Sprint Officializes ETF Policy forum

This statement is so false, you sound pretty stupid making it. It is to the advantage of Verizon and Sprint to have roaming agreements where both carriers are present, that way you can have excellent coverage in areas where both carriers exist. Its in those areas (both ways) where one carrier may not exist where they companies charge each other exorbitant fees to roam on each others networks.

Re: Bogus reviewer and score
Oct 8, 2008, 4:37 PM
in the HTC Touch Diamond (CDMA) forum

I have already submitted my review. With any phone, I ignore reviews that just, "this phone sucks", and post a bad score. I dont expect someone to do a professional in depth review, but please at least give some valid reasons on why the phone is "great" or "sucks". You even look more ridiculous when you post misinformation about a phone, showing you obviously dont have it.

I work in White Glove customer care, and never transfer any orders to telesales. I process my own orders through FDT and get all the spoils that come with the sale.
