Slingbox is, or at least has been up to this point, specifically prohibited on the VZW network. Data is generally limited to 5 gigs a month, then past the 5 gigs your speed would probably be reduced immensely.
Maybe if you plan on using Slingbox a bunch, you might consider Sprint. Similar handsets, but no data limit, plus the data is much cheaper. I would suggest even trying their SERO plan. They're giving away the farm ...

No sh!t Sherlock. It's a violation of confidentiality to disclose what has not been officially disclosed. You've seen this posted here for a day, you can do a simple web search, yet you come into a Verizon forum to gripe that people don't answer things that could cost their jobs.
What's even more amazing is while in the Verizon forum, you gripe about how this whole site is VZW employees. THEN DON"T COME HERE.

I just did an analog conversion 2 days ago. Very nice old lady, $15 plan, 300 min, unlimited nights & weekends plus m2m.
She kept the same plan, just upgraded the handset.

My biggest issue is people using the term "crippled".
Most of the options (OBEX) would NEVER be used by the majority of my customers. Yes, there are a few, but they do have the freedom to port out.
If I buy a Tahoe without the OnStar, is that Tahoe considered "crippled". I don't think so.

While the iPhone is iconic, I know few people (real, regular people) could name any other handset that at&t carries that other carriers don't.(razr, Blackberry, etc.)

I didn't say anything about the UI. I don't care either way. I do know my "average" customer likes the same UI across different handsets. Some of them don't like the newer UI's in the newer handsets and opt for the standard VZW UI as a default because of the learning curve.
Now mind you, my average customer is NOT a phone geek. They are older in demographics, and want the reliability of the VZW network. ...

I don't see how that's narrow minded. I don't think I've bad-mouthed at&t. If I could afford an iPhone, I might think about it, but since my Blackberry does what I need it to do, why be so narrow minded to get one?
