Much thinner, display appears to be a bit larger. The resolution is good. Protective layer over the display raqther than having the touch portion directly on the glass which should help for durability. YouTube preloaded and works great. Keyboard is similar to a Centro (rubber style keys) spaced a bit further apart though since it is a larger device. Wifi, 3.5mm Headset jack, and infrared. Texting is a breeze to be honest. I am a average size guy with average size hands. Texting with my thumbs was not a problem. If I tried to go really fast I might have missed a spelling here or there but I do that on my Pearl. It is a bit more accurate to use one finger and tap your way through, but that has to be expected since its a smaller surface area touching the screen. I ...
Samsung Instinct is a pretty sweet.
I have recently had the oppurtunity to play with the Instinct and I can say its a phone I will definetly be buying. Nice overall size, very easy to use, fast internet, and texting with the on screen keyboard does take a bit to get use to but was able to adapt in no time.

Good Durable phone with good pricing.
I recently got to demo this phone along with ther Pro-200. Pro-700 is of course to replace the 7050. It is much lighter weight with the same battery life. Outside screen you can tell by the pictures is much larger and very easy to read even in direct sunlight due to the High Contrast. Direct Connect is only functional in Rev. A territories and is sub-second speeds. Tested call between iDEN and worked perfect. Pricing on 7050 at current ...

Yes, they did put bids in, but they also countered there own bids to make sure the price it was going at would be more profitable to the FCC.
