"I can’t tell you how many iPhones I’ve seen in the past 24 hours here at SXSW Interactive. The best, though, is when you see these people cursing AT&T, saying things like, “Why would AT&T beef up its network in Austin when it knows 8 zillion iPhone users will be swarming the city for the next week?” This phenomenon—people being unhappy with the cellphone service, despite the flashy ads promising “amazing speed” and “more bars all over the damn ...

I should elaborate on this ... you visit sprint.com/digitallounge and browse the call tones NOT logged in. Find the one you would like to purchase and then on the bottom click to "log-in and purchase". Once you put your log in information you may purchase the call tone and apply for all callers all day etc.

Dude ... 1- get an iphone level phone, not a pretender. ... the iPhone is in contract with AT&T with a renewal made just last year. You really think Apple will JUST hold onto AT&T for much longer ??!! The palm Pre with its new WebOS looks very promoising and has created quite a buzz with Telecom/Tech ... fingers crossed that its deployed in a promising fashion. 2- get a good marketing company, one that demonstrates the superior services Sprint offers. Funny ... durring 9/11 and the "NY black out" i specifically remember that only Nextel "chirps" worked durring those emergencies due to network congestion. Regardless having this "opportunity" will truely prove how "strong" these networks implement their "emergency" services in times of crisis. Network priority will mean nothing to the average Joe customer. This would apply to these specific accounts only. Should be interesting ... would be some serious bad cred if things went amuck.

Re: ANY word on Youtube app for HTC diamond and pro devices to work again?
Nov 20, 2008, 1:42 PM

This problem happened numerous times with the HTC Touch and Mogul (6900 & 6800). It turned out that it wasnt Sprint's (or any other carriers) back end issue but actually YouTubes servers/back end. Im gonna take a shot in the dark and say that YouTube messed with something again. The fix would either be YouTube fixing it for these (and other) mobile devices or HTC/Sprint will have to come with another YouTube client over OTA .cab file.
