Late shopping
Ordered y phone sept 19 from Verizon.com and my email confirmation said it would be delivered by October 5 (TODAY). Whenever I would check the status it would say the phone will be SHIPPED on October 5 (TODAY). Guess what?? It hasn't shipped and it's STILL saying its going to be SHIPPED October 5 (even though the day is almost over). I'm really upset and no one from Apple and Verizon can tell me where my phone is.

Well my husband's arrived early this morning (20 min ago and yes I'm sooo jelly :lol: ) via UPS and I'm still here twiddling my thumbs for FedEx to get their act together and bring me mine.
Isn't it odd that they shipped our phones separately? Is this normal? I've never ordered 2 phones at the same time. Oh well, I'm patiently waiting for my wonderful FedEx friend to bring me my phone SOMETIME today ...

Hahaha nice, got my email too! Monday morning can't come any faster!! Ahhhh!!! It's a good thing I'm out of town this weekend so I can keep occupied instead of driving myself crazy thinking that I should be at home waiting for the nice delivery man or woman to bring mine and my hubby's phones :lol:

Hahaha definitely MUCH BETTER than standing in the cold early morning for this phone! I swear, I've been tempted to switch to AT&T just for this phone, but I held out bc I KNEW that ONE day Verizon would get it together lol :lol:

I was reading on Google and reading real time results that the Verizon website crashed or was acting REALLY slow, but the Apple site was working just fine. Then people who had Fire Fox would get as far as putting their address in the fields to order ONLY to get an error message. What nonsense! Come on Verizon! Don't this again for those who are going to place their orders on Feb. 9!th

Yay!! Got on at midnight (PST) and was able to order my phone with ease. Just waiting for the email confirmation *twiddling my thumbs* Lol.

Yes but there are of people dont have a smart phone and when they do get one it's a little more bc of the data plan.
AT&T they have two different data plans for the iPhone, then you gotta add on text messages and whatever else you want (ex. insurance).

It's a love/hate relationship :lol: The Storm 1 was my VERY first BlackBerry, and I even got it on Valentine's day!!!
Just like the other responses, it took me almost a week to get used to the touch screen for texting. And I'm a HEAVY texter and Email girl. With the new 5.0 OS on Storm 1, I am even in MORE love with my Storm.
It will take time and patience to get used ...

I FINALLY did the software upgrade this morning and for the most part, I love it! However, I don't see the icon for my EMAIL! Just to let you know, I have my "msn.com" account linked to my Storm 1 ... I went to my Email settings and started all over again, but still no EMAIL icon :cry: I am still ...

So I use the browser on my phone, which is set up to IE, went to mini.opera.com, went to download it, but after I entered all of that info it keeps saying "SMS not sent."
What am I doing wrong?? I KNOW I'm typing in the right number to my phone and the right captcha letters and numbers.

A girl in a class of mine has the Storm and told me that she DOESN'T PAY the $29.99 Blackberry plan, she only pays $10!
She's on a plan with her boyfriend (who also has a storm) and they each pay the $10, which SHE SAYS includes EVERYTHING:

*Unlimited Internet
*Unlimited SMS/MMS

EVERY Verizon phone I've had has only allowed me to send a SMS message with 160 characters. HOWEVER, if I were sending the text to a VERIZON number, it would just let me text a novel if I pleased, and my VERIZON recipient would get ONE LONG massive text.
So I know that when sending an SMS text to a NON-VERIZON person, you can only type 160 characters. IF you were to type more than 160 characters and ...

No it cannot be used w/T-Mobile because T-mobile and Verizon have different networks. T-Mobile is a GSM (just like AT&T) and Verizon is CDMA.
If you really want this phone, just switch over to Verizon. Don't even bother messing with Vodaphone. Make your life simpler.

I work at an International Airport and I have seen PLENTY of travelers with the phone. I asked them all what they thought of their phone and they said the same thing:
IT TAKES SOME TIME GETTING USED TO IT B/C OF THE TOUCH/CLICK, BUT ONCE THEY GOT THE HANG OF IT, THEY LOVED IT.

You make a very good point ferndog. All phones come out with bad reviews. I have the LG Voyager and before I got it I came on here to check out whether it was a good phone or not. There were tons of negative responses, but I actually love the phone.

I don't know what drm'd files are, but I do know that you CAN make ringtones on your pc using iTUNES, b/c I've made TONS of ringtones.
Plus I have my friends who are all t-mobile peeps and they make their own ringtones on their PC's using iTUNES.

The song doesn't go anywhere when you hit enter. Once you pick the START and END points of your song you then gotta covert it to an mp3. And to do that you need to right click on the song, select the CONVERT TO MP3 and it will cut that clip out for you.

I make my ringtones on iTunes. Pick a good 15-20 seconds of the song you want, make sure you know the start time and end time.
Right click on the song and select GET INFO. Then pick the OPTIONS tab. There you enter the start and end time you wnat as your ringtone.
Hit enter, and then convert your song to an mp3 and iTunes will automatically cut that piece of the song for you.
I recommend saving that ...

So i bought the stupid body glove case and it makes the phone freaking bulky!
But I was able to get the Voyager to open ALL the way. Because the little hinge covers keep getting folded inwards. So what I had to do was unfold the damn things so that the Voyager would open up.
Hope this wasn't confusing! I actually got rid of the body glove, it's cute on a blackberry but not for the voyager.
Problems with getting data from pc to voyager
Ok so I installed the V-Cast CD that came with the phone, and I have my voyager set up to ask me how I want to sync up my phone with the USB cable, MUSIC or DATA.
I have no problem getting MUSIC on the V-cast, but whenever I select DATA, nothing happens.
the only reason why I am a little annoyed by this is because I've been trying to email pix to my phone via MSN but it either doesn't ...
