if you are talking about the blinking led light i dont think thats for charging. there is a charging icon that comes up on the actualy battery icon on the screen. second it doesnt matter if you leave it pluged in these batteries cant be hurt.

i read if you go to options then network and change it to 1xev not global, you will gain some signal strenght. thats if you have verizon. the theory is you wont be searching for both gsm and cdma and you will only look for cdma. im trying now ill see how it works

will54 what happend is when workers tighten the screws too tight on some of the units they need to be loosened. the card or wrapper behind battery is not needed if you do the screw thing.
its a worker error and its all verizon would probably do if you took it in. or they might give you a new one. but if that worker made the screws to tight then you would have to loosen them.

the screw fix is a much safer fix. putting anything behind or on top of your battery could cause long term bending of the metal plate under the batter. cause from too much pressure. just becareful is all im saying

i dont think they have to admit anything. becaus some of the phones at launch worked perfect while some didnt. but i think you are right that if they get some more updates out asap they will get back some customers that left.

a physical keyboard will always be eaiser to type with. so if you do 100s of emails a day curve will probably be easier. but play with both phones first. i have the storm and i text alot and i do very well with the virtual keyboard. so its all about you. everyone is diff.

no not at all. many people have said the phone was not for them. thats totally fine. but alot of people make mountains out of mole hills and thats wrong. the phone is not half as bad as people say it is. their complaints have either been fixed with updates or they need to exchange it because they got a bad unit. they dont look at it like that. they just jump off the cliff instead of thinking first.

google maps is free, but i havent seen istocks yet. i read tho google maps is not working with the storm gps yet, still a new phone gotta remember that. keep your chin up about the phone it will come around.

thats a plus if you have that phone then. thats one of the reasons he didnt buy it. and he said the touchscreen was way way way to sensitive. but again im sure you can adjust that. i like the screen size of the storm over the omnia myself.

my sis fiance/e was going to get the storm, then the omnia and ended up getting saga because he wanted the keyboard. but he said the omnia acellorometer or what ever was annoying because it does that flipy flop thing everytime you go from land scape to vertical. now if you can turn it off thats a diff story.
just go to the store and play with them.

what i have learned is being rude over the phone doesnt get you anywhere. i work in sales and ive been on both ends, and being rude or yelling doesnt help your case. if anything get ahold of a manager be calm and explain the problem.
besides they dont care, you would have to pay 175 cancel fee 5 times = $875 to close all lines. they would rather help you if stay calm.

verizon network is hard to beat. i have friends on sprint and they complain a lot. i think there were a lot of quick reviews that were over done and were not fair. now the phone might not be for some or for the hard core business person. but you can say just that. a lot of people just like the trash it to trash it.

i guess only playing with the store demo really gives you a good idea of the phone... not. how about owning the phone for a few days, then give a more realistic response. keep your curve but dont make up trase about a phone you dont even own.

lol. i didnt want to upgrade from xp to vista but the sales guy told me 64bit vista was out and i bought the computer for gaming and the vista works great. but hey if you not ready to upgrade then you not ready.

actually my new dell xps has vista 64bit and it works amazing. ive had no crashes and no problems. id say its safe to get.
