If windows marketplace had more apps that appealed to me or had apps in line with a lot of todays advancements (like streaming video to home surveillance via mobile,) then I would have went with the htc 7 surround. If windows phones can do stuff like that, I'd have to be an extreme software whiz, outside of the loop, or blind. Which is why I left my beloved touch pro2 and went to androids g2. Tp2 outshines g2 ...

Didn't mean to answer my own question, but, I found an app under the android market, that allows me to send files via bluetooth.

I was trying to transfer files from my previous phone to the G2 and couldn't find how to send files via bluetooth. I was able to pair, connect, and receive, but not connect.

or u could try saving or deleting the voicemails, if u just listen and hang up without saving or deleting, it might still show u have two unheard voicemails.

to clear text notifications, (without actually opening up the message X amount of times):
Keeping it simple, let's say you have 1 new text message,
Using Touch Flo3D, select the Text Message icon. Flick up or down to the new text message, after 2-3 seconds the orangish green notification will go away.
Let's say you have 3 new text messages, hence, the colored 3 notification.
Flick to select one of the new text messages, wait a few seconds, the count goes down ...

p.s theyre a b*tch to put on perfectly, just remember to keep your fingers wet, and spray the sticky side with the solution, then align properly and smooth out the air bubbles, micro air bubbles do go away after a day or so.

purchase a skin shield for your device. Skinomi or Zagg invisishield etc whichever,
i was extremely careful handling my tp2 for several months, it ruined my quality of life trying to keep this phone scratch proof.
now i got a skin shield, its protected, no difficulty with the resistive screen performance, i can handle it more freely, its not a worry.

-tap that symbol in the bottom right corner that pulls up the address bar, back button..etc)
-press the icon in the bottom right corner (looks like a piece of paper w/a post it on it)
-select settings
-select privacy
there you can clear cookies, cache, and history.

i'm not hatin on verizon, i think its good that they were patient on what other carriers offered, then offered such things such as a 3.5mm jack standard, us 3g, and i believe voice dialing, they just need to do something about that bluetooth, yeah, it is important.

An addition to my review for the TP2
I was reading over my review on the TP2, I gave it a good score, but, I put a lot of cons on there. I wanted everyone to know that there are way more pros than cons with this phone. Even though I didn't list all of them (hey I did it from my qwerty keypad and it was late)

does anyone know if downloading morphgear onto the tp2 will work? just so i can add a game to my device.

you might be talking about the recent recipients. u gotta do a master reset to erase those numbers. save all data 1st i do advise.
and wt heck? u got a gf#2 or somethin?? chances are she won't go to the lengths of writing out a text, and then, clicking on recent recipients, unless she really knows about your phone and all that.
man check your girl and if u aint married u dont gotta explain yourself.

Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade
The TP2 uses WM 6.1, (which is great btw contrary to what you might have heard) however; you can upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5.
Where can this downloadable upgrade be found?
Has anyone upgraded to WM 6.5?
Does it change the TouchFlo 3D operating system? Hopefully not cuz its tight.

thanks 4 spreading the knowledge. i should've been more specific. i wanted to know which phone had the best web browsing experience. I know the iphone has actual internet, high speed page loads, and the zoom feature is 8) 8) . I was wondering if the n97's internet browser was similar to the 3gs or better. Not just some mobile adapted browser experience.

there is a sensor if the phone is to the ear or in palm of hand, but, screen not lighting up when a call comes on, it sounds like your phone specifically has the problem. /;|

I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, correct me if im wrong, but, I just called T-mobile and they don't offer that t-zones anymore. the $5.99/month one? yeah, that is no longer available.
those that had it may keep it, but, those trying to get it can't. $24.99 and up for data plans.

Confirmed! I called t-mobile inquiring if T-Zones [$5.99/month internet plan] would work on the Behold, she said it was a grandfather plan.
The $5.99 per month is only available to those who had it before they cut it. Anyone else has to pay $24.99 and up. At least that's how it is in California.
