You don't need a calculator.
Look at the sales tax on the bill - round up to the next dollar, then double that. IF the service was exceptional, toss in another buck. Or two if service was exquisite.

Just because you see a tower that does not mean your phone can connect to it... First, it may not even be a tower for your provider or a roaming partner. Second, It may be sectored/directional and may not provide coverage in the direction you are from the tower.

One that told me the little red line through the white area on their battery meant the battery was bad, and I had to give them a new one. Oh, and I had to give them a new back for their phone under warranty because their dog ate it... and a new phone because their battery was shot, and they had no back for their phone.
