...the iphone 3g has HSDPA (faster than EV-DO), OS 3.0 will provide A2DP, MMS, Wireless bluetooth transfer, and WIFI.
Can the Apache take a call and check e-mail at the same time? Multi-Touch? 10 hour talk time?
I had at&t up till late last year. HSDPA isn't bad, but can't beat Rev a. The Apache is older, and can't check e-mail and take calls simultaneously. Don't ya think that's a little disrespectful to your callers? Anyway,I have my eyes ...

Are there any ideas on how to improve battery life? Is there an extended battery? Maybe I have a defective one? It lasted 7 hours with 8 texts and about 4 minutes of net surfing; and I close everything out, have emails turned off and have weather updates turned to manual.
Can anything else be done?
Make sure that the beam and bluetooth are off when you're not using them, too. It's easy to forget about them.

1. The last reply before mine wasn't all too long ago.

we will not be seeing any new Alltel phones
Is that a question or a statement? /;|
Re: And not at Verizon???
Why? So it can be neutered?
Re: Verizon and Palm Pro?
Alltel's version is pretty good so (knocks on wood).
Re: Review the phone, not the service...jeez...
Amen! I used to work for Cingular (now at&t), in the warranty department, and I heard that crap all day long! Blame Motorola, Rim, Palm, NOT at&t.
Re: Verizon and Palm Pro?
Pretty much. That's why I hated the EnV. I wasn't able to use it to its full potential.
Ummm.....
The iPhone sucks. No expandable memory, no removeable battery, no MMS, no video record, and you think it's better? Come on! EV-DO kicks Edge's butt anyday!
Re: E815 Motorola_ Any advise out there?
Look under the Motorola E815 forum. You're clearly under the wrong phone's forum.
Re: Really, no headphone jack?
Minus the lack Windows Live and Micro SDHC support, I favor the 6700.
Re: Picture Mail
Sadly, the 6700 maxes out at 2GB.
