Amen... I just want to add one thing to this. There is a 6 month period the customer has to keep the product or service for us to truly get paid. If we were all just lying to get people out the door with something, they would figure out that they were lied to. They would return or cancel, and we get a charge back and we dont get to keep the money. I work for AT&T and we actually ...

I wouldn't know about dealers and 3rd party. Ive only seen what happens on the COR level. Also, every merger is a "buyout". Its just a nicer way of saying it.

Back when we were turning into cingular from att wireless, everyone was ranting about how the company is going to cut a bunch of jobs and how horrible it's going to be... Never saw one person get laid off. People always speculate about what will happen, but i dont understand what being so negative and pessimistic about it will do except create drama. I work for at&t in a corporate store and i went through the att wireless to cingular merge and the cingular to the new att merge. My guess is this is going to be like the att wireless and cingular merge where they are bringing together 2 different wireless companies. They are not going to force anyone out of their contract or plan, but if you need to make any changes, like getting a new phone, changing your plan, ...
