Re: No EVDO still?!?!
Except for the almost million people that bought the first one. To many issues with the first one. We wont sell nearly as many of number 2. Same thing with the Motoroloa VE20. The first RAZR sucked so badly that no one will buy the new one, even though it's a decent phone.
Re: OMG
We had a phone in not to long ago that we needed to transfer all the pictures out of, one by one. Most of them were of giant turds, and then some of this guy getting $hat on.
Re: I pay Sprint $5/month?
GravityFails said:Sure, the Airave will have its proponents, but it's not going to be enough for Sprint. Don't worry, I'll save you a seat on the T-Mo bus when you're looking for a new provider next year.
I appreciate my high speed internet access anywhere I go to hop off this buss.
Re: I pay Sprint $5/month?
In responce to #2.
It's not really doing a whole lot to "remove" traffic from the network. Just off of the next closest tower. Most of the transaction that happens during a call is over IP. The tower is just your connection to the netowrk.
Re: Save me!!!
Because everyone is telepathic, and knows that the prices are to high, even before they get to the store.
Couldn't resist. :D
Re: Teakers Suck!!!
We had this guy come in one time, total old school skater punk. His phone wasn't working right, so I took a look at it, decided that we would exchange it in store. Everything went smoothly, and he leaves. The customer comes back a few hours later and askes if we could get his pictures transfered from his old phone to his new one, no problem because it has a SD card slot on it. ...
Re: Teakers Suck!!!
You can't ever pass up the opportunity to flame someone, can you?
It was a good story, leave it at that.
Re: Doesn't anybody make phone calls anymore?
Someone needs to come up with a rating system for what Old Bear is talking about.
Re: Doesn't anybody make phone calls anymore?
I have to dissagree with you a bit.
A phone needs to be a phone yes, but, with the way our society is moving, on the go access of our everyday stuff is becoming more and more of a neccesity. I think that a lot of the carriers are seeing this, and responding to the demand.
For me, when Sprint finally decides to make the Samsung Instinct available to their employees, I'm going to get one, ...
Re: Another Dumb iphone?
Just a guess, but you'll probably have to stay with the DATA plan. Same thing that Sprint is doing with the instinct. Truthfully, it's stupid to not have the DATA plan, to many people would wind up with large casual use charges. If you wont use the phone to it potential, find a phone that you will. No sence in having a phone that you pay money for that you hardly use.
Re: no instant messaging?
I do enjoy the vast array of programs available for the Palm devices, but not enough to sway me from getting the Instinct.
Re: Sprint No Contracts Soon?!!!
Nothing new, just new to us. Look at how carriers over seas do business. A lot smarter than we do.
Re: Mythbusting
Mythbusters busted the second one. :)
Re: no instant messaging?
I use a Centro right now, and love it. But, I can't wait until they make the instiinct available for employees. I don't really do anything on the Centro that I wont be able to do on the Instinct. But I don't use a whole lot of the PDA type of stuff. And with the Insticnt, you don't have to worry about your contacts, because they back up to our server automaticly. Also the ...
To quick to scream witch!
I don't know why people are getting so worked up about this. Yes, the review is pretty much the exact opposite of my experience of the device, as is true of many of us. With this review as the exception, and not the rule, I have always found the reviews here to be helpful, and insightful. It, then, doesn't make sense that they would throw this one particular review. Many of you have said that ...
Re: uhhh...navigation?
I too was dissapointed to not hear mention of the Navigation, GPS based Live Search, live TV and radio. These things are features that people will be able to use with out paying extra. I am currently using a Centro which does not have GPS, but with previous phones, I used Live Search almost on a daily basis. I also use the TV feature whenever I find myself needing to wait. Quite handy.
Re: Fixed?
I haven't had a problem.
Re: Come on people!!! gross!!!
Of course. They never tell you the juicy details until afterward. I'm still getting weekly shots from my doctor. :(
Re: Come on people!!! gross!!!
It wasn't a color thing. It was an observation. There IS a difference.
Re: best desk snack ever
Reese's Pieces!!!
Re: Thinking about a Palm Centro (At&T)-Questions?
I've been using a Centro for about the last 7 months, and I love it. Haven't had anyproblems with it that weren't user errors, or a simple setting. Plus you get access to loads of programs, many of which are free and you can find many websites from which to get software that will do just about anything you need. Blackberries are nice, but one thing, trackball malfunction. I've seen many of them with worn ...
Re: PAID PAID PAID PAID - You want the fricin' point?
It wont change how Sprint reps get payed. Starting July, they will be payed based on how many phones sold, and that's it.
Re: Sprint /rumor *Alltel/scoop
I used a rumor for a few months, and I had a great experience with it. I recomend them to people that ask me what good phones we have.
Re: What phones do you have?
Presently using a Centro. Before that I had a V9M, loved it until it forgot to wake me up twice. Yes, the phone actually forgot to make the alarm go off. Before that I hade a Samsung M610, great phone.
Re: could you imagine if your mute button quit working
Do I smell revenge?
Re: Well at least they have WiMax.
The average customer gives a crap about what they are told to. If speed becomes the next "must have", then they will care. You give the mob to much credit.
Re: Sprint, Verizon, etc.
You're a masocistic Sprint customer, aren't you?
Re: Sprint commission changes (corp retail stores)
That was the point. Your response was not clever. I re-iterate my point.
Re: blue tooth head sets on morbidly obese house wives
A lot of idiots on here lately.
Re: Sprint commission changes (corp retail stores)
You're an idiot.
Re: Bad Co-workers
You should see the mens bathroom here. It's nasty.
Re: Apparently I'm rude?
Thank you. I hate it when people come in to the store I work at and ask for the location of one of the other carriers.
Re: whats happening to sprint?
You guys suck. You get a raise, and my standard of living decreases because I don't.
Re: Here is me being stupid!
I know. That wasn't a speculative statement.
Here's more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QWERTY
Re: whats happening to sprint?
Me neither, in fact, we were told "no raises this year". Maybe I need to start not doing my job so that I can get one too.
Re: Google Buying Sprint?
Sprint is not dying. More like it has a head cold. You feel like **** for a couple of weeks, then you get back to normal.
Re: Here is me being stupid!
Because a QWERTY keyboard is different than an ANSI keyboard. There are a few different formats for keyboards. QWERTY is standard because it was developed to slow typists down so that they wouldn't jam there typewritters, It just never really changed. There is at least one other format that is designed for efficiency now that computers don't jam while typing, if I remember correcly, it's called ANSI.
Re: sorry..
How about "sweaty".
"Shwetty" is a good thing.
Re: Insurance
So you're one of the sales reps that has to resort to lying in order to make money?
