turning a profit is one thing....greed is something else! Also you might want to check your facts about US Cellular losing money every quarter! I'll keep my service with a company whoh actually CARES about it's customers not to mention a first class EVDO and voice network! The big boys can't hold a candle.

The ASL program is an insult! If a customer has bad credit fine charge the appropriate deposit but I've seen first hand how awful this program is and now they charge a fee! Way to go sinking ship! I've never had a carrier charge me a deposit in case someone feels I have an ax to grind.

When I worked for Sprint the systems stayed down all the time! But your wrong all carriers DO NOT operate with systems down all the time.

I hate LG phones. Honestly they are some of the cheapest phones ever made. I will say that the LG Fusic isn't that bad but Motorola has always built very solid phones. I haven't seen this new one yet but hopefully it will be a solid performe like the Razr and others.

Read the fine print of any major carrier and you'll see that if you truly are outside their coverage area mobile 2 mobile DOES NOT APPLY! The customer was going by what the sales rep said and for you to insult her like that is repulsive!

Ranting?? Get a grip on reality! How are you going to argue with someone who's been with a carrier for that many years? Obviously you didn't read my post as I NEVER said Verizon doesn't provide English reps. Verizon may have been the first MAJOR carrier to stop contract renewals for plan changes but they were NOT THE FIRST CARRIER TO DO IT!

They may not be one of the big boys but here in eastern NC they have the BEST network coverage not to mention their SUPERIOR customer service.
Check this out:
1. nationwide coverage
2. unlimited mobile/mobile to/from their cust
3. unlimited incoming calls
4. unlimited nights/weekends atarting at 7PM
I've had them since 1991 and have changed plans/phones many times over the years and they NEVER require a new contract unless you get some kind of promotion such as a new discounted phone.

Alltel didn't pioneer anytime rate plan changes. I've been with US Cellular since 1991 and they have NEVER requireed a new contract JUST for swapping plans.

They have their own cell sites. Their coverage in eastern NC is 100% better then Sprint or Verizon.

Yes I did work for them. I finally quit in June 2007 due to being fed up with the company. I take it you feel their the best thing sinced sliced bread.

Sprint is a joke! They don't even have EVDO in our area yet! Granted it was an affiliate area to begin with but they've owned this area since March 2006. Nobody here takes them seriously! Alltel and Verizon both have EVDO in our area. Sprint put your money where your mouth is!

It got to the point where Sprint cared absolutely nothing about either it's customers or employees. I could spend page after page on this forum but they're not worth the time. All I can say is that if you happen to work for them I'd seriously start looking for something else. I'm happy to say that I now work for someone who truely cares for his customers and employees.

Sprint sucks! I started in Dec 2002 working for one of their affiliates Airgate PCS. They knew how to take care of their employees!! Then we got bought out by Sprint's largest affiliate Alamosa PCS and things continued to be pretty good. Then in March 2006 Sprint bought us out and it was all downhill from there. I finally quit in June 2007.
They are finally reaping what they have been sowing!! I truely feel sorry for the employees who ...

I used to work for Sprint's largest affiliate Alamosa PCS prior to Sprint buying Alamosa out in March 2006. To this date the entire Alamosa footprint lacks EVDO and no cell towers have been put up since 03/06.
Go figure. Sprints buys them out and does nothing.

Instead of WIMAX they need to spend the money building out their existing networks! Things like WIMAX mean nothing to people like me who live in an area where both Alltel and Verizon have EVDO high speed data and Sprint's data speed is barely dial-up. Sprint's voice signal is horrible in Eastern NC compared ...

Do you work for Sprint? Unless something has changed with the system since June 2007 whenever we did an ESN swap with ANYTHINNG but an insurance claim customer care would ALWAYS go by what the system said......which was sorry wait 22 more months!! I hate Sprint! They rip off their customers as well as employees!! Look at all the bad press....need I say more!

I used to work for Sprint in a retail store and always felt like the customer was getting ripped off just for doing an ESN swap. The ONLY time ANY carrier has a right to restart a contract is with some kind of promo such as a subsidized device or airtime discount. Putting a used phone on a number or buying a phone at full retail SHOULD NEVER reset a contract date!

Sprint bought out Alamosa PCS their biggest affiliate and the coverage hasn't improved one bit since that happened in March 2006.

You don't even know what 3G means buddy! US Cellular has had a 3G network for several years now! It's at 1X speed the same speed Sprint's was when they launched their 3G network in 2002. They don't have EVDO (broadband) yet but neither did Sprint until late 2005. Sprint DOES NOT have broadband in all the areas they serve. Most areas are still at the slower 1X speed the same as other national carriers who have recently upgraded ...

Sprint launched 3G handsets in 2002 but the speed was only 1X. In 2005 they launched EVDO which is broadband and a lot faster then the slower 1X speed. However they are BOTH considered "3G" based on what they're able to accomplish as opposed to what the previous "2G" handsets could do. Sprint launched 3G first and I'd say based on what WIMAX is supposed to do it will be the next generation....thus "4G". That being said I live ...
