You need to separate your email from your text messages, it is in the settings menu you will have 2 icons one for text and one for email.

After going through 3 storms Verizon finally admitted to me that there were too many issues with the storm and heavy users like me will not be happy with the phone. The wall street Journal had a great article about the Storm this week in which sales were high but also returns and customer complaints were also high. I have read several articles in which some people suggest it is a hardware issue not so much a software one ...

I am on my third storm with .75 OS. My first two had hardware issues this one seems to be fine so far but still having problems answering the phone like the first two. When a call comes in I have to chase the answer button and after I push it it takes 5 to 6 seconds for the other party to hear me, any one else having these problems?

I would recommend the storm it is a great multi media powerhouse, I just did the update for the storm and it cleared up 50% of the issues it had. You should try one out at a store before you buy one I think you will love it!

I have yet to rate this phone due to all the flaws because verizon has never failed me. It seem to work better after a few adjustments and 10 phone calls. I learned alot on crackberry.com. I am tired of people sizing this phone up to the iphone this is a verizon phone if you want an iphone go to att but all in all no one beats verizon coverage,phone repairs[swap out] and customer service. I am having the same issues they need a software fix for this phone because it is loaded with problems!
Anyone having the following issues???
1-phone key pad freezes
2-speed dial dials the wrong number
3-entire phone very sluggist at times
4-camera freezes

Apple makes a very nice phone and the storm should not compare to the iphone, it is in it's on class

Just got the phone today and love everything except the lag time any suggestions. Otherwise the phone is great but the lag time could present an issue with keeping this phone.

Verizon only taking advanced orders online
I went to a Verizon store today before they opened but the line was too long, so I ordered the storm over the phone at 7:30 this morning and it will arrive tomorrow before 12:00 payed extra for Saturday shipping. When I got home I noticed that online orders were only advanced orders that will ship before 12/5. I will review after I get mine tomorrow but played with one in a store I think I finially found ...
GETTING PHONE THIS FRIDAY
I decided to try the storm after speaking to several verizon customer service personal and they love it. All of them said it is way better than the dare so I am hoping I will feel the same, anyone have any info on the storm.

I still think it can be a great phone if they fix the known issues. I returned the phone with 2 days left on the 30 day return. After 2 weeks my phone started to freeze and lock up the touch screen became harder to use having to tap several times for one item.

I bought the dare when it first came out but after a few weeks the touch screen was so hard to deal with and I had several camera issues so I sent it back I would like to know if these issues have been corrected.

Is anyone having issues with the camera on the dare. I am not getting great pictures and all of my settings are correct. I spoke to lg they said to return it to verizon
SCREEN FREEZE
Has anyones screen froze yet, mine did today I had to hit the lock button to un freeze it the touch pad would not work.
