Re: I wonder if voice dial over bluetooth is nerfed on this one too.
It does have voice dial via Bluetooth. I have used it.
Re: Bypass Screen Instructions (before activation)
If you do this, know that you will then have to master reset to use Blur, and you need Blur to do a lot of the cool things the phone do.
Re: Motorola W375 Connect to Computer?
Scratch that -- does not use MPT after all. But you can use a cable-computer connection.
Re: Motorola W375 Connect to Computer?
Yeah, it uses a mini-usb cable. You can use Motorola Phone Tools or just set your phone so your PC recognizes it as a data storage device.

Re: Will a MicroSDHC card work with the V9?
According to the manual, "You can use a removable microSD memory card (up to 2GB) with your phone to store and retrieve multimedia objects (such as photos and sounds)." I don't think the V9 has the drivers for SDHC.
Re: Email Impractical with Q9
I've never used a Blackberry. I thought the Q had "true push" e-mail -- in fact, I usually get my business e-mail on the Q before it hits my PC in box. What's the advantage of the Blackberry? (It does sound like the spam filter is better than Exchange's.)
Re: Email Impractical with Q9
Don't know what you can do about the spam, but you can set limits on the size of the files you receive in e-mail. If you get one with a big attachment, you can choose to download the whole message or just wait and check it on a PC.
I get spam in my POP3 account, but I have to wait until I can get to my PC to mark them as spam so my e-mail service can filter them ...
Re: You CAN adjust the sound
Yeah, it would be nice if the audio controls were in the media player. But I see some value in applying them to the entire device, too. I think having two volume controls is a pain, for example. (In the media player and for the whole device. Three, if you count the headset volume control.)
I like the sound better with the bass and clarity bumped up, but it's just a personal preference.
You CAN adjust the sound
There's a control in the Accessories folder called Audio Enhancement. You can adjust the phone speakers in three categories: Surround Sound, Bass and Clarity. You can adjust all those for the headset, too, plus a control called Speaker Size. These adjustments are surprisingly effective and you can really improve the sound of the music with them.
