If I am not mistaken, isn't this phone using Hummingbird processor and Super AMOLED panel? Phonescoop specs mention Qualcomm processor..

For those of you who have this phone:
1) do you see CNN under channel listing of Sprint TV app?
2) when I opened the TV application for the first time, it came up with a message that I need to update. Once I went ahead with it, another message popped up stating that the old version will be removed. A "yes" on that brought another message that the application could not be removed and the upgrade failed. Has anyone ...

I have been using DARE for a week.. I have also noticed that the outbound audio from the microphone is tinny and maybe a bit too digitized. I have left voicemails for myself and the audio quality does not suffice an overall nice phone. It has almost no BASS, just treble. People I have called have reported inferior voice quality compared to my other cellphone (which is a small candybar Nokia phone).

Menu -> settings & tools -> call settings -> answer options
If you meant answering the call without opening the flip (on the speakerphone), I don't think thats possible on this phone.

I had the similar problem when I got this phone. I was about to return it back due to same battery reason. Before that I thougt of trying an old trick which made E815 battery last longer.
Even though this phone is not EVDO, somehow it still eats battery when this phone is in fringe network coverage area. It definitely sounds like software issue. As a chance, I made the HDR Pref - CDMA. Somehow, that worked like a charm. ...
