Because the transition period between our two companies is not completed yet. Alltel is still launching new handsets because we're still operating as a separate company.

First of all, Opie, there's no reason to get your panties in a bunch. What he's saying is... the $5 a month isn't the problem. But having it go against the minutes you are ALREADY paying for in addition to the monthly charge makes no sense and is, in itself, utterly ridiculous. And this isn't about Verizon Wireless. It's about Sprint. Don't post about things that're irrelvent to the current topic - especially when VZW hasn't actually even ...

He didn't say it wasn't accurate. This is in reference to the grammar, as well as another article that was completely wrong (and proven by several people), yet the editor refused to fix it.

If you keep your phone in your pocket 99% of the time (which I'm guilty of doing a lot), you run the risk of your phone getting too hot or shorting out because of the possibility of moisture accumulating there from it being in such a hot place. Believe me, I've had plenty of customers with that problem and that's WHY they're looking for sturdy cases. Clips, holsters, leather cases.. whatever, are really good especially for guys who do ...

But then you have to take into consideration how much extra you have to pay per line on Sprint's unlimited everything. It's not 10 extra to add a line. Every line pays 99 dollars, (5 lines = 500), BUT with each additional line you take off a certain amount. Just one line: 99$. Two lines: Take off 5$ Three lines: take off 15$ Four lines: take off 30$ Five lines: take off 50$. If you're just doing one line, it probably will work ...

Actually, the news article quotes, "Acer has its own line of PDAs and believes that its technology combined with E-Ten's can advance the mobile computing market." The original poster just asked what Smartphones Acer makes, if any. You should probably learn to read before being so rude. The link I found, however, was back in 2005. It quotes, "Smartphones have more and more features these days, and prices are slowly beginning to drop. The market is growing, and Acer wants a ...

Alltel's circle varies per rate plan, now. On the national or greater freedom plans, if you select the lowest (40$), then you get to add one person to your circle. The next one up from that is 50$ and you get five. The 60 and 80 dollar plans give you 10 people in your circle. Then the newest additions are on the 99, 149, or 200 dollar plans where you get to add 20 people. ...

I missed it the first time, but see where the asterisks are? __ As with other voice calling plans, AT&T customers can choose from a variety of data and messaging plans to meet their needs. ***For example, customers with standard wireless phones*** can choose a data plan such as $5 for 200 text, picture, video and instant messages or $35 for unlimited messaging and MEdia Net access. __ That's only ...

I'm aware of that. And personally, I don't care for looks that much either. But it's the same old thing as before, nothing really new. Or at least that's how it seems. Doesn't appear to be worth it that much for the price, either. But I'm sure it's a fine phone, just not something I'd get excited about myself.

Actually, when you open the phone's camera, you just hit options and then go to camera setup. You can change the shutter (picture sound effects) to none, so when you take a picture there's no annoying sound along with it. My phone's with Alltel so I'm not sure if there's any difference, but I don't think there should be.

Razr 2 V9m for Alltel.
Dec 18, 2007, 2:26 PM

I will start this by saying that I do work for a company who sells cell phones. We handle Alltel, At&t, and Sprint (though Sprint not as much). At the moment, we have 17 different phones in stock, and we usually carry about 23 all together. I've done more than my fair share of testing different phones, and since we've been with Alltel for our phone service for about seven years now, I've gone through my own ...
