My husband got the Torch yesterday.
It does have a status light, and like the previous BB phones, u can also assign different colors to different notifications.
I was told insurance is like $5 a month.
And yes, it can have two ringtones per contact, one for texts and one for calls.

Nevermind..... just looked in the Apple iPhone forums and found out that the left side is a microphone and the right side is the speaker..... now I feel dumb. LOL.

Question about sound quality on iPhone 4..... Why doesn't sound come out of BOTH speakers??
My husband and I both have the new iPhone 4 and have had them for 2 weeks now. We are just very curious about the two small speakers on the bottom of the phone. Both of our phones only emit sound from the right speaker. There is no sound coming out of the left side.... is this normal? Are other people's phones doing the same thing or is there something wrong with ours?

Every single Motorola phone that my husband and I have had (ROKR z6m, RAZR v3c, RAZR v3m, SLVR l7c, v323) have all randomly deleted my contacts for no reason whatsoever. I still had plenty of memory left and there were no other reasons for it, but it did happen. I guess it's a Motorola thing cuz it never happened on any of my other phones from other brands.

it's probably your phone... i had 3 bad ROKRs that all had texting problems. I just kept returning them to the US Cellular store until I got one that didnt' have the same problem. (I'm on my 4th ROKR now!) LOL.

yes, u can apply as ringtone... u have to copy the song from your card to your phone, then u should be able to see it on the list of available ringers when u assign personalized ringers to your friends.

yeah, I wondered if it was just a bad batch of ROKRs too (I am on my 3rd one now and still having the same problem). They say that I am the only one that has come forward w/ this problem, they haven't had any other customers mention it.

I had a Motorola Q (I didn't like the phone) and it had a game on it called Bubble Breaker... I played it and became very addicted to it.
It'd be nice if the ROKR would have this same game on it!!
ROKR not for heavy texters??
I read a phone review over the Motorola ROKR Z6m and it said that the phone wasn't for heavy texters. I do a lot of texting and I am really looking forward to the release of this phone... any idea why the review would say that??

what carrier do u have?? I have US Cellular and they told me that it was supposed to have been released in mid-August, but that the release date was pushed back due to continued testing. I was told the next release date is scheduled for October
