One point to ponder. If value in your eyes is only money, then why did CricKet and TMobile lose thousands of customers? The two carriers represent the cheapest carriers in the US. CricKet for Prepaid and TMobile for Contract. Just a thought......

Reply to: "they also have a very small 3g coverage area as apposed to VZW, AT&T or Sprint" US Cellular's coverage is now 98% covered in their network. Verizon is at 97% of their coverage area. Not bad for a regional carrier.

I have had the opportunity to work for at&t and US Cellular both. My best experience is with US Cellular. I am still with US Cellular. :) US Cellular does offer an extensive testing period of at least 6 months minimum. In regards to phone technology, certain phones do work better in certain areas. I have a Samsung and have great reception. I have had Nokias that have had great recetion as well. ...

I have not encountered this. The important thing is to power cycle the phone on a daily basis (which is supposed to be completed on all phones). Also if you delete the cache, cookies, and history regularly it helps as well. :)

at&t does have a "Saves Team". I have a few freinds that work for the Saves Team for at&t. As for phone issues, the best resource is actually the manufacture themselves. at&t does not manufacture their phones. at&t is only responsible for the network. Samsung Customer Service is 888-987-4357 (M-F 8a - 7p CST/Sat&Sun 9a - 6p CST) I hope this helps. :)

USCC definately Rules! I can not imagine working for any other company. They have made some great changes to promote growth and retention. I have had the privelege of working in our Contract & Prepaid Customer Service as well as now getting my feet wet with Telesales. All within a years time. How awesome is that! Sure that is a whole lot of training time, but it is worth it! My goal ...

You will have to call into the Warranty Exchange line just to process a warranty claim. You also have the option of no loaner phone. Oops, I meant without the option of loaner phones. The great thing about Sprint is that they lost over a million customers in one quarter, so the ques in Customer Service ...

Re: Question for US Cellular Reps

I have worked for US Cellular since November of 2007. I work in a call center environment. Since November, I went from customer service rep to an Associate Training Specialist. US Cellular is a company that will work for you if you want to succeed. I would never dream of leaving US Cellular for any other company. I am glad that I made the switch from at&t to US Cellular. I truly "Believe ...

Re: EVDO to LTE for United States Cellular Company

Currently EVDO is marketed in the Milwaukee, WI only. US Cellular stands behind their network. When Cingular rolled out "3G" their were so many complaints of dropped calls. Their was also issues of certain phones not being able to switch back to "2G" when they left the "3G" market. So I don't care when and if they get LTE.

I work in a call center for US Cellular and I love it! It is very relaxing environment. I worked for at&t and was stressed 95% of the time. If people worked for them first thay would see how good we have it. My friends and family have noticed a change in my attitude since I switched companies. I think Us Cellular works harder with morale than at&t did. What at&t failed to ...

US Cellular Customer Service Help Desk

I am a customer service rep for US Cellular who made the switch from at&t. I must say that the agents in our Customer Service. Help Desk are top notch! Every call that I have made to that team has been a positive experience. Not only do they tell me what I need to do, they tell me how. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. If you are a part of our ...

I don't know how many times I see all caps notes in the system. If people only knew how much easier it would be to flip through notes. How many novels do you see typed in all caps? None. We would be more professional if we learned how to type properly. I guess it is a pet peeve of mine.

Typing in all caps means that there is something important that must be emphasized. Even in the Warranty department we should type in correct caps. All capps is harder to distinguish proper and improper nouns. Sorry, I used to be a school teacher.

You can go to your states department of transportation or State Police website and they will have all the information on road closures and construction for the entire state. Why waste money into GPS when you have many more free resources to use.

I have a friend who had a Razr with Verizon and had the same buzzing. So how is it a GSM buzz? It is a Motorola Buzz. They are known for their buzzing on the Razrs. No network is full proof. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I am in Phoenix and receive excellent coverage. The only place I get terrible service is in Wal*Mart. But everyone I talk to has that trouble. No matter what city you live in. Do you turn your phone off every couple of days? That seems to help my phone, but I have a cheap Nokia 6102i. I hope everything works out for you. :)

The reason customers have to call from the store is that they got rid of their landlines. Well.....if you can't be on your cell phone then where are they going to call from. Where is our customer service? More importantly, where is our customer satisfaction? Let's go above the call! :) We can do it!

Most Clergy have Smart phones so they can better manage their congregations. Every Clergy person I have know has one, whether they are a pastor or a priest. What better way to call a church meeting than with a smart phone? Besides most churches have their own websites. Just a thought from someone who is a man of faith.
