If you have an Android with 2.2 and up task killers really don't do any good. You just have to be careful about what apps you download because some will drain your battery pretty quickly. I have a G2 and the battery life is pretty good. I rarely play games on my phone, when I'm at work I turn off my auto-sync, adjust screen timeout, brightness, turn off touch tone sound (I can't stand that noise)...all ...

Okay? All those companies you mentioned are still around today so whats your point? From what I understand Steve had been battling pancreatic cancer which is very aggressive and there is currently no treatment that will cure that form of cancer. The man had been trying to run a company and deal with a terrible illness. Apple may go through some struggles but they will be fine. RIP Steve.

Really? I thought the corporate stores received a SD card with update so they could manually update everyone's (MT4G and G2) phones? I received my Gingerbread OTA update like 3 weeks ago(I have a G2). My brother has the MT4G. I need to ask if he has received update... :?

I don't think so...not for OTA update. You just need to be within good coverage and have good signal to be able to receive update. :)

What do you mean? I've owned BBs and I downloaded a lot of different themes for my phone. I wish I could remember the site that I use to use but if you Google Blackberry 9700 themes I am sure you find plenty of good sites.

Check the Market for themes. I use GO Launcher Ex for default Home screen. There are other Home screen apps too: ProLauncher, ADW...try them out and see what works best for you. There are free and paid themes for all of the apps suggested. :)

Unless they changed their warranty policy after the 3rd replacement of the same model within a 90 day period you can get a new phone of a different model. Now I am gonna tell you this, if you get on the phone with customer service acting like an asshole then the rep is not gonna be so willing to help you out. Keep that in mind the next time you call.

I was elgible for a partical upgrade this month and so I got the G2 and I have to say things are much better now. My phone isn't that old...its a MyTouch Slide. I just don't understand the drastic change in the quality of the service. I went from having pretty good coverage everywhere to it being really spotty and not being able to use my phone in certain areas of the airport (where I work) and everyone else who doesn't have TMo can. :roll: The same at my house. I just don't get it. :(

I have a MyTouch Slide. Prior to that I had a Moto Cliq. Im not the only one that has complained about that problem in my area. I know several people with TMobile (diff devices) and they complain about the same problem. What does it hurt to send a field tech out the check the tower?

I agree with you 100%. I think only twice in all the years Ive had a cell phone I actually waited until the the upgrade date. Most of the time if something is released and I really want I just paid the full retail price for it.

...to get someone to check a tower in your area? For the past 5 months the 3g coverage in my area has been horrible. Even at work I have problems with holding a 3g signal. I have checked the coverage map and according to the map I have good coverage. It hasn't even been a year yet and I will be on my 5th replacement device...this is ridiculous. G2 being released in other colors?
I currently have a MyTouch Slide and I upgrade in Feb 2011. The G2 is really the only phone that appeals to me right now. I am not feelin that funky dull gray (titanium I guess) color. Does anyone know if they will be releasing this phone in more colors later? Black and white would be nice.

I swear ever since Kyocera purchased Sanyo's mobile division the quality and style of the phones have gone waaaaay down. Sanyo's use to be top sellers for Sprint because they were, stylish, feature rich, and had outstanding battery life. This Innuendo thing is hideous. Looks like a step down from the Incognito. Boooooo!

I have MotoBlur on my phone and all you have to do is move all those lil widgets to the trash can so all your FB, Twitter, etc updates won't pop up all the time. Just tap and hold widget or shortcut until the the little trash can pops up and then drag...simple as that.
